I am not sure what a Gregori Watcher would do to "handle" a threat or violation against their keeper. I see mine as more protective in a preventative sort of way, and not so much in a retaliatory way, but that could be my individual watcher's personality. Hope that helps a little!
Mine are similar. They are very protective in a bodyguard sense, but seem to be 'above the concerns of mortals' in their attitudes about the daily life kind of things. They seem to have a more cosmic view of the world, at least mine do.
I would agree with you, Zelda. I believe the majority of the Gregori Watchers, if not all of them, are beyond earthly pettiness in their dealings with other, however, I do think they would take any measure necessary to protect the ones they love (i.e., their keeper and the keeper's family and pets) if the situation called for it.......
Absolutely. Two of mine are the heads of my 'security detail' and they don' t mess around. They're no nonsense about protection, but they are not petty or vengeful. They squash any threat like a bug, but don't go looking to avenge any wrongs done to me. Which is fine - there are others who specialize in that sort of thing. :B

I'd say they're more like security with benefits, if you want that of them, too. lol

Very serious about protecting, but I know mine at least are not "vengeful" as you said, either, Zelda. More a preventative protection.......resolving/removing threats and problems before they get out of hand, etc.

Oh, they are all kinds of yummy, aren't they?

I've nicknamed my head guy 'The Captain' because he's so serious, mature and responsible and I'm... really not. There are times he just shakes his head at me. I'm sure I keep him befuddled more often than not.

Largely because I like to hear from keepers even more than just reading about a spirit type, here is a question.

About that "with benefits" observation... I realize that there every individual is unique, but are GWs generally a race that looks for that level of intimacy with a keeper? One of my goals is to NOT bring a spirit on board who is expecting that kind of interaction. As the saying goes, "Not that there's anything wrong with that", but that type of intimacy is something I'm specifically NOT in search of. I wouldn't want to bring in a spirit who'd be dissatisfied with that house rule. That would be unfair to the spirit.

Just checking. :)

Grigoris are generally sexual by nature, but not all of them are interested or expect it. I know there are a couple of people here that have protective GWs without the sexual aspect of the relationship. If you get a custom and specify what you're looking for, the right one will come to you.

My experience, Likes2Read, with Gregori Watchers is that that sort of intimate relationship is there if you desire it....they are willing to engage in such, but only if the keeper wishes it. I don't believe it is a deal breaker or anything like that for them, such as you might experience with a more sexual spirit, like an Incubus for example. Gregori Watchers are more about protection and comfort/reassurance, and wish granting. I guess you could ask for one of your wishes to be that they would not become intimate with you on that level.....lol. 8

My GW is not from CH....or Lisa or Cathy.....and it's not unlimited wishes like a djinn, either....it's discretionary.

Just got my first grigori in the male this week and he's definitely very loving and protective. Like many others I wouldn't want to be on his bad side. He feels very strong. Very solid. I can tell he's going to be a very good friend.
