i was on the CH chat when N surfaced. i think it was back in April or March. He was s-t-r-a-n-g-e! and yes, most of the time he did sound like he had a multiple personality disorder on a roll.

I reported the guy a few weeks ago. He's permabanned. So, unless he gets a new computer and creates a new account, he shouldn't be sticking his stinking nose around here.

I do know he's been perma banned from the chat for a while.

this was just a big ball of dominoes toppling over probably all at once. sometimes people deserve what they ask for.

It should be noted that, 8 months in, there is still fallout occurring due to this event, this individual's Choice.

Part of the reason he is no longer a member is because he came into the chat and threatened a lot of the very people who originally tried to help him.

A month after that event, he went on CH's facebook group, and posted a comment about being demon-free (no longer possessed) where he tried to tell everyone that he had made the whole thing up, and we're all fools. He then continued to rant, rave, and foam at the mouth in an EXTREMELY irrational manner, for about half a day - and honestly, showed everyone that, actually, he was the real fool, and still definitely under the influence of... whatever those things are.

As far as I know, he hasn't been heard from since THAT event... but he pops up about once every few months to scream his crazy at everyone before vanishing back into ignominy. I suspect he's due for another cry for help soon.

No one is helping him at this time, as far as I know. You cannot help someone trapped in an ego loop who still thinks they can handle this kind of thing, or who pretends to be in denial as an attempt to manipulate others to come back and be food again. You cannot help someone who is so hell-bent on proving themselves the better practitioner (despite never having learned even the BASICS) that they attack everyone who COULD help them. You cannot help someone who doesn't want help.

And that, right there, is the biggest lesson of this thread.

  * Even if you've handled something like this before, that does not mean you'll handle it this time, or next time, or the time after. You're walking on razorblades, and you'd better know that the moment you flinch, you'll be lunch.
  * Even when you think you've got the upper hand... hell, even when you're SURE, when you KNOW... check your back, because you probably don't... they're just stretching things out.
  * Black Arts are not your friends. They never will be. Even in a circle, bound, and contained... you stay on your toes, you never drop your eyes, your focus, or your tools... and you never bet they're totally gone when it's over.
  * Don't be afraid to call in backup. Don't be afraid to ask for help. Even the strongest professionals go in pairs for this kind of thing... and sometimes they go in far larger groups... you know, like THIRTEEN. It's not about your ego and you proving anything... it's about survival at the end of the day... and if you don't ask for help, you drown.
  * Finally... if you actually want to solve your problem once it's become a real problem... don't alienate those people I mentioned that you'll need help from - not even before it actually becomes a problem. The more you throw people who know what they're doing to the wolves hunting you... the less those who survive will want to put themselves forward to be food for your problems. No one can survive by being an island.

This is the attitude required by someone with dark arts spirits... I've encountered such testing myself...

Hopefully, anyone viewing this thread with an idea towards working the Black Road will pause... and ask themselves whether or not they have the backbone for it.

Though honestly, the people who most often end up walking the Black Road... do so for the same reasons as N did...

And they don't stop to think...

They simply throw themselves off the edge of sanity...
