Black Magic Cake

Postby Huffette » Mon Nov 11, 2013 2:53 am

I really want to try this cake for my family

Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups all purpose flour 1 tsp salt
2 cups white sugar 2 eggs
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1 cup strong brewed coffee
2 tbsp baking soda 1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp baking powder 1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 2 9 inch round cake pans or 1 9x13 inch pan.
In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Make a well in the center.
Add eggs, coffee, buttermilk, oil and vanilla. Beat for 2 minutes on medium speed. Pour into prepared pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool for ten minutes, then remove from pans and finish cooling on a wire rack. Fill and frost as desired.
