The first time I found CH was basically by accident. I was agnostic at the time and found the whole concept of spirit-keeping to be a funny way to scam easily-fooled people with overly active imaginations.

I wasn't laughing as hard after the first time I experienced a haunting. In my haste to study up on basically EVERYTHING to do with spirits and protecting oneself from unbounds in the span of a day I came across the CH site again. And in spite of the fact that I was already dealing with something unknown which scared me, for some reason I felt a strong pull to open up a particular being's page and spent a few minutes looking at it... but no, I had more immediate things to concern myself with!

After a few more months of necessary learning and self-discovery, I went back to CH and had them formalize the bond that had already been established on a de-facto basis back in that day.
