I'm so sorry to hear this. I know how you feel, as I still struggle with the loss of my chihuahua, who died in my arms in 2012. It was like losing a baby. A lot of us were losing pets, so I created the furbaby memorial to help us grieve their losses. Perhaps this will help you too.

Been nearly 2 months since I lost him and I'm still depressed and bawl at the drop of a hat. Don't understand why I can't accept he's gone. Sitting here watching it snow and it hit me that he loved to play in the snow and how much fun we had, I miss my boy SO much..

It is never easy when everything we do or see reminds us of them. I look around and see things Gizmo used to do or lie on and feel like bawling. I even see my chihuahua mix and see him in her and it makes me want to bawl. As she is his heir, I would never part with her.

Grief is a process, and it has its own timetable. There are sites you can visit like petloss.com if you are interested in interacting with others who are going through the process.
