When making the servitors, it is all about weaving the patterns together, using different kinds of energy. A lot of people will also use Sigils. I have been making servitors for many many years.

Question--if the servitor goes rogue like you said and you can't control it, what happens then? Especially if it doesn't have a death date attached to it? How much damage can it do on its own??? Just wondering how dangerous this could become.......

A rouge servitor could be as bad as an attacking spirit, however, you can kill them. Even if they do not have a death date. All Servitors are made with a kill switch so to speak. (At least all my Beta Class Servitors.) All in all, a Rogue Servitor could make your life pretty miserable.
However, unless the Servitor is made incorrectly, or poorly programmed, the chances of one going Rogue are like .000000000000000000000001%.

Well, a servitor without sufficient protection against tampering would also have a high risk of going rogue, too. Tamper-proofing is also essential.
