I work with these children (adults now) whose parents are not able (were not able) and never were able to show their children the way to life. There are so many "children" who need help, whose parents can not take responsible care of that themselves.
While many people can "produce" children (...), not all are able to teach them responsibly the stuff they need to learn on the way for the lifes of these children to become responsible and confident adult people in a society. Social problems are the result that we need to absorb and balance through collective society structures in order to perform damage control for the whole society...

All I'm saying is be careful what you put out there. The universe has a funny sense of humor. I also believe in responsible parenting. Like you, if I decided to be mommy again, I would adopt. Maybe that is why I nurture so many animals? I don't know.
At any rate, be careful that the universe doesn't misinterpret your joke and give you a surprise. Parenting is not easy, and you are wise not to bring in one if you don't want it. Kudos on that.

For the overpopulation problem I say we just put something in the water of all the third world nations and sterilize a crapload of the illiterate world population. It's a temporary solution, of course, but it's a lot better than making this world more crowded than it already is.
