Tasking is when you give your spirits something to do! When you give a spirit a goal to accomplish, or when you assign tasks to a group of spirits.

Do spirits prefer being given tasks to complete, or do they prefer to just hang out with you?

Depends on the personality of the spirit. can be a little task like helping you not lose an item you usually do or something bigger like improvement in an area of concern in your life. I had several with me today working in the garden some just lurking since I can't see my werewolf being content with trying to get rid of a pesky patch of weeds like my gnome seems to be but getting the neighbors dog to back off, yes I think we have found a job that E likes and suits him.

Lol, thanks vex, that's funny about your werewolf! And very sweet that some of yours like helping in the garden
Would it be a good strategy to just have mine hang out with me during the initial 30 day bonding process, then start giving them tasks once that time is up?
