Bump. What better way to honor International Spirit Day than to practice communicating with your spirits?

Especially, this is a good time to experiment if you are among the people who wishes to develop the ability to either use your own extra senses to perceive things, or learn how to hear your spirits. Or both at once!

Even individual details are good to start with. Shape, material, color, purpose, how it's used, any letter or number that you might be picking up... it's all good. I will be surprised, and pretty darn impressed

, if someone gets a direct hit on what the object actually is, as it's not, shall we say, uber-common.

It is not a spirit vessel or servitor vessel. But I do use it in my practice and the spirits like it.

Okay this may sound off the wall, but I do feel it is wooden and you are right you wouldn't see this much at all, and I could be way off, here, but a harps chord,, that is why I thought it was a keyboard at first!!!! I don't think I spelled it right!!!! But I believe you know what I am talking about!!! I also felt strings, metal strings that is!!!!

I don't know why but i feel like it's green... almost jade? Though i feel like that's incorrect.... though whatever it is there aren't any sharp edges. So its rounded and it also seems like it might be long.... But that's all I've got :p

As I was going out of this thread I also heard a mandolin a pear shape wooden body and a fretted neck, dark colored wood, wow!!!!!

Ok.... I don't usually jump in on these things... but, my initial thought was a wooden musical instrument, like a few others have said as well. But, the one I am picking up on is a Dulcimer.

LOL! I was JUST getting ready to sign in and type that!! I was picking up wood and trying to remember the name of the instrument that a friend of mine played and then I saw your post and I was like THAT'S IT! Beats me having to google for the instrument now! LOL!

I just thought of something, after seeing WWP's ad for her site's daily sale. Today's guardian includes, among its capabilities, the ability to visit a site unseen and then report back to its owner what it observed.

Well, that got me thinking. Some people here also have SERVITORS that they would like to communicate with and perceive more clearly. So by all means, let's throw open this project to servitor communication, too. Spirits, servitors, scrying, remote viewing... the possibilities are endless.

Incidentally, it's also OK to attempt this via more than one method. The last time someone else posted a thread like this, I gave two answers -- one from my own viewing, and one from what the spirits had to say.
