Bun Bun is still eating and drinking well and enjoying many lovely snacks. Unfortunately, her immobility is also causing a bit of a gas problem...so it's multiple tummy massages a day and a bit of baby gas medicine (which she absolutely hates) while she chews on a pellet to keep herself from going crazy. Ever hear a bunny fart?

Poor baby. I haven't heard a bunny pass gas, but my little, elderly Chihuahua (now at the Rainbow Bridge) had some digestive issues when I had to switch her to a canned-food-only diet. One time, she was on my lap when she let loose with a weapons-grade cloud of air. 9) I couldn't believe THAT came out of a 5-lb dog, lol.

Here's praying that her improvement continues to the point where she's allowed to move a bit, to help relieve the gas issue.

Bun Bun has been doing well these past couple of days with minimal gas *knock on wood* and is now set up so she can eat and drink at her leisure while still being padded in. It's a small bit of independence, but it seems to make her much happier. She's back to drinking out of a water bottle instead of an eye dropper and pefers to 'hold' her own treats instead of having them held for her. She's currently munching away on some hay pellets and grain (we aren't doing regular hay because the dogs steal it through the bars until she has no hay. This may change depending on her next setup once she's able to move around more).

Bun Bun needs some major well wishes tonight. After nearly a week of good health (as good as can be that is), today she has nearly stopped eating and drinking. I am grabbing her some papaya enzyme tomorrow just in case there's a blockage somewhere due to her fur, but if she doesn't start eating and drinking again soon there isn't much hope for her.
