This morning in Astral state I opened my door and flew past the rings of Saturn. Oh my it was epic. I flew back and hovered above earth and blasted California with rain energy. I read somewhere they needed a few trillion gallons of rain to end the drought so I decided to get to work.

Anyways how far have you left your body?

I have had a few spontaneous AP/OBE's. The furthest I get is usually just a few feet from my body. It always feels like my whole body isn't fully attuned to the wavelength when i'm there. I'm usually just floating around because I can't stabilize myself. Honestly, I think if I want to have a REAL AP I should start grounding more. Going to work on that...

I never astral projected, i was always very afraid but now I'm brave . I'm gonna do it !! I need an 'Astral projection for dummies' guide

I actually googled to see if such a book exists, lol. I know there is a wide range of books in the "____ for Dummies" series, as well as "The Idiot's Guide To _____", which I think is a competing series. I'm not fond of calling beginners by names like "dummies" and "idiots, mind you. But a lot of those books really do break complex things down into basic steps, making them easier to grasp quickly.

Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be an actual book called "Astral Projection for Dummies". However, the google search unearthed a whole slew of instructional articles that beginners here might find useful.

As for distance, I started out with AP experiments in the here-and-now. The back yard, the neighborhood. Later, heading out to other parts of the city and to the 'burbs where a friend worked. That was my first big, verifiably successful AP experiment, in fact. The day before I was going to visit her at her job for the first time, I did an AP and tried to get an idea of what it looked like. One feature that I spotted were big royal blue signs, but I couldn't see them clearly enough to read them. When I called her on the phone and asked about the signs, she said that there were no such signs on the wildlife refuge. However, the next day, when we were at the bus stop waiting to go home, I happened to look across the street. There were HUGE blue signs declaring, Penrose Park Apartments. I let out a holler that startled the friends who were with me. "The blue signs!!!" Turns out they weren't IN the refuge, but they were across the street from it. As the expression goes, "That's close enough for government work", lol.

Later AP experiments have done things like moving into different timestreams (like delving into the past), different solar systems, even different dimensions. I don't know how to assign a distance to some of those.

But to make your life easier, start with visiting either familiar places, and/or places that you will soon see physically for the first time. Take notes about what you see, and then match it up with what you see when you're actually there. Or take a look into the near future and see what color someone will be wearing when you meet up with them later in the day, or what color car you'll be parked behind/next to when you go to a destination in a little while... you get the idea. These are all things that are easy to verify, and getting feedback helps a person refine their abilities.
