I'm confused! CH classes Elemental Dragons as White Arts.
I see. So this is it. It lies here within this palm. The heart.

Keep in mind Lokakisa there is some leeway here. Just because they share the same label doesn't mean they are the same species of dragon. I mean "elemental" isn't exactly like a scientific classification. It's just a general descriptor to "get the idea across."Lokakisa wrote:I'm confused! CH classes Elemental Dragons as White Arts.
Consider if you asked 2 different people to find you a black and white bird that lives near the ocean. One might bring you a seagull, and the other might bring you a penguin. Well, both are black and white birds that live near an ocean.
Both are dragons that have elemental affinities.
Granted that's not the best analogy, but the idea should be clear.

*nod nod* I was actually kind of surprised that they didn't fall into a Grey category myself.

Wyverns
What are Wyverns?
Wyverns are small Draconids. They have strong sturdy winged forelimbs and short bird like rear limbs ending in draconic talons better suited for grasping than walking. They are exclusively Dark Arts and have only an average predatory animal’s intelligence.
Wyverns are small and colorful. They range between one and three feet and often have varied stripes, spots, or other markings. The most strikingly aggressive feature of Wyverns is the stinger on their tails.
What are some possible types and how are they unique?
Infernal: Comes from the burning pits, and is distinct in both coloration and attitude. The Infernal is covered in smoky red scales and has brightly glowing skin. This gives them an intensely aggressive appearance when the skin is glimpsed through the gaps in their scales.
Aquatic: They usually have a very bright almost tropical coloration to their scales. Aquatic Wyverns have adapted flipper-like wings (think penguins) for better water mobility.
Shore: Located along the shorelines. They have feathered crests and black and white markings similar to gulls. They also tend to be the cockiest, often confidently strutting, or making some other bold display.
Forest: Adapted to a life in the trees, they have smaller wingspan suited more for gliding from tree to tree, but not at all good for true flight. They have vibrant scales and crests. Forest Wyverns are more widely social than other wyverns.
Tiger Usually average in temperament and size. These Wyverns have been aptly named for their truly beautiful bright orange and black striped coloration.
What kind of personalities and behaviors do Wyverns have?
Generally speaking, the brighter the wyvern is, the more it will display, and social it will be.
Only Infernal Wyverns are truly territorial, and will only allow another during mating season. So aggressively territorial are living Infernal Wyverns that after mating, the females must take wing and fly away from the male territory as the males have a tendency to eat the eggs. Infernals have lost none of this territorial aggression as spirits.
Personalities vary, even amongst the different Wyvern types. Though it really depends on the individual, in most cases, the different types are tolerant of each other. They can also be social with others though they can sometimes be aggressive. It’s not impossible to see a 1’ Wyvern challenge a 23’ Black Dragon (or try to at least), and have another befriend the same Black Dragon. Any Wyvern bound will be loyal toward and protective of the keeper.
