So long story short. I have adhd, and I recently saw a book called playdhd, I read a bit of it, and it turns out that people with adhd naturally produce intense and inappropriate amounts of dopamine (love or pleasure hormone) which affects us in the long run because our brains become risistance to that very hormone. Which is why we tend to become thrill seekers or drug users. Yay.
The book suggests, however that by turning work into play, we balance our "feel good hormone" and the other stuff. That is why I am asking for dragon spirit suggestions that can help me with this, please.
why does work have to be work. living with adhd

Any suggestions for a dragon spirit, that can help me turn work into play?

First thing that comes to my mind is a brass dragon, as I've heard they are very chatty and playful, but I'm no expert on dragon spirits, alas! Perhaps one of those smaller ones... their species name started with an E, and they were only about a foot long if I remember right... I'm on mobile right now so I can't look it up, but I believe CH was selling them and they were very playful, fun little friends to have around from what I recall reading! Perhaps browse around the non hybrid dragons in the encyclopedia and see if you can find any who catch your eye as far as fun and play go? Best of luck, I hope you find the perfect dragon! Don't forget to utilize mundane means to help as well, like retraining your thinking and perhaps downloading a habit-gaming app to help turn to-do lists into fun RPG-like games if that's something you're into!

I would suggest a silver dragon as they are shapeshifters and very chatty and cheerful, I even heard they can sometimes get sexual but I think it really depends on the dragon I don't think all of them are hyped up on the idea of sex with a human. But they have a very strong positive vibe about them to help put you and your emotions into a positive mood as well because I have ADHD as well and I had an unbound silver dragon around me that really helped lift up my mood at the time.

I think you're remembering Enan Dragons. I have two. Great little dragons! They're on my Cheer-Up Team. Enan Dragons are great! I was adopted by one, he was my very first spirit. He is unbound but still hangs around some. Now that I have more spirits in my fam he seems to take longer breaks between visits but that's ok.Likes2Read wrote:I think you're remembering Enan Dragons. I have two. Great little dragons! I adopted a glass dragon and one of his traits is:
He is great for assistance in concentration in studying or focus. He is a great motivator and eliminator
of procrastination. Being a great shoulder to cry on he loves to keep you going no matter how hard it seems
They aren't dragons but Arkan Sonneys are great for bringing joy to the every day.
No matter which spirit you choose you can always get a custom conjure and in the order notes put in some details about what you need help with from the spirit or what sort of traits you prefer.
I hope that helps!
