Just a pondering I've had, having not hired a conjurer yet: What do the ubi call themselves?
Does anybody possibly know?
I know we've been using the gender neutral term "UBI" for the "IncUBI/SuccUBI," but that's just a new word isn't it?
I understand from other spirit keepers, according to their blogs, that the succubi, for example, don't appreciate the term "succubus," as though it were a slur against them. If that is true, might they call themselves (as a species) by their own word? I imagine so, but could it be intelligible to us?
Suppose I could ask a ubus (singular?) myself when I manage to afford a conjuring, but has anybody else done so and found out?

TBH, I don't think it matters what they call themselves. I don't say that as a slight to them in any way. It's simply a matter of being able to call them something that the human language probably can't contemplate and that the human tongue likely can't pronounce. So, the term Succubus is used. I have a fair amount of experience with my succubi. I can say that I have gotten nothing from my Succubus queen that would indicate that she finds it an offensive term. She's a demon. She's a lovely demon. She just happens to be a Succubus. But I don't call her "succubus"... As you can imagine, I call her by her name. And if more formality is required, I call her by her title and name. The same as I do with any demon I work with.
Dear haters,
I couldn't help but notice that "awesome" ends with "me" and "ugly" begins with "u." I think I'll keep on being awesome.

Agreed with Cka. . .for the most part. They don't much mind what we call them or think of them as so long as the intent is with respect and love. Well, within limits of course. I also, just tend use their name rather than species when thinking and interacting with them with no problems.
Though, A has a great deal of pride in her race and sisters. My friend recently got a succubus figure. He's not a keeper and only objectifies them. So every time he brings up the figure and starts talking about Ubi I wince. Without fail, he's reported having nightmares the next morning. xD
I just smile and congratulate A on a job well done. lol

You wont simply call your ubi name as succubus.
If you know her name. So call her name that's called respect.

Not sure my question was understood here, but good note!

Dragynraken's statement makes perfect sense actually he says don't call your succubus what she is but call her by her name because it's disrespectful to just call her a succubus. He's also from another country so bear that in mind.

I tend to use things like my sweet ladies when referring to the group of them. If it is just one I use her name.

I think what Succubean is trying to say, is what they call themselves, as in, what term do they have for their own kin? Like we ourselves call ourselves humans, but another species may not.
Think Artemis Fowl series (if anyone has read that) the Faeries called the humans "two legs".
Same idea. What do Ubi call themselves to one another, when referring to their species?

Yeah, you call them by their names. Lol. I don't know why that's just so simple, it's funny.. but the name one wants to be called is told to you, and so calling them by that is respectful.
The succubi and incubi I've dealt with don't have an issue with me terming them by their 'race name' as we know it though - some have very particular titles within the realms, or reputations and have voiced this to me - in such cases they may desire those titles to be used instead as they stand apart from the rest of their kind and want that to be recognized. This goes for any type of being.
