The very first post on this thread is from @Magnolia , I was surprised to see the Harpy is amongst as one of the most hardest being to keep.

That is why I asked my questions actually. Since many people on our forum has minimum one Harpy, I wonder how is it going, and I am just curious if any issues that possibly did surfaced. That is all.

I haven't had any issues with any on my dark friends in my keep. And I do have some very dark friends like my Eater and demon Dancer, Ash's very dark and rare vampire, my Tosckha Vamp, my two black dragons and two wraith, & hellcat few were creatures including wolf just to mention those with the darkest in my 80% white art community.

Since last October if not before, I have been having several callings from a Hellhound and a Harpy. I did put it off with so many excuses and I end up put an order through just now, because I had also, guidance and encouragement to taking them on to my keep from CH readings and @Vipera aspis atra .
This is the perfect time to have them and I am also surprisingly able see myself working very well with both.

I left notes for @ASH in case I am wrong with having them. Since he is an expert and knows my energy signature, I trust his expertise to find me the best possible match for me. Especially with my Harpy I will work on protection magick and Astral travel through the realms. I can learn a lot from both Hellhound and my Harpy and also deepening my psychic calling well be an enormous help. With both included in my protection group as well as I will task them to be my personal guard on a daily routine, I know that they week have not a boring moment with me day and night. Plus, whatever else they will be specialising as my spirit companions usually have at least one main duty that they come to me with and it's included in my conjuration notes with them.

Congratulations, I'm very happy for you❣ I have two hellhounds and two harpys all darkest of DA and mine have never acted out nor have I had to be vigilant either with them since all of my companions both WA and even my newest extremely DA ones don't do anything without asking me first, but every spirit and spirit family is different. With you being a primarily WA keeper I think side effects to the darker energy might be your biggest challenge honestly. I'm no practitioner, but as a keeper of both species I decided to reply with my experience & opinion. If you need more information on the species how to subdue them if needed (although I'll never do that to mine out of a personal choice, but everyone can do what's best for them. ) I find it better to ask the practitioner about the companion they conjured as they would know about the species too, but that's just my opinion personally.

While most forum members might have one harpy like you said I plan to adopt more than my two since more have given me their callings. Another thing to please remember about myself & my spirit family is I have adopted numerous companions and immortals especially my latest prebounds and custom conjures (non ) that are much darker in their energy than a harpy is as confirmed by my two lovelies when they both met my newest companions & since I have two harpys as of right now I thought my views would be good to share. With that said, I have no doubt that the best companions will be chosen for you as that's what a custom conjure's goal is anyway I believe.

Thanks @Huffette, how are you doing? Since this post I received my hellhound. It's a he ... and he is very young with his 100 and a bit of years. So far he is excellent and describes as a spirit guide and loyal friend. Probably that is why I thought he was a she, because it's his look and slim figure. I love having a Hellhound and my Harpy lady bird.

This is quite an appalling description of Harpies and certainly no way to gain anyone's trust. I'm quite shocked to read this, and would never recommend having this sort if view for ANY spirit or dog for that matter.
