The amadan to my knowledge is the 'faie fool,' the ones spoken of in the lore would seem to be very much DA entities. What with instilling madness onto opponets and the like. A DA trickster from what the lore says. Yet CH speaks of them as WA beings, what am I missing here? The lore speaks of a being that would be more opposite to the encyclopedia discription CH gives. Can anyone clear this up, any who keep CH amadan or perhaps Magnolia or Ash, if they should see this.

Mythology can be a tad tricky when it comes to what is fact and what is fiction..

In my personal opinion, the best way to know is to experience a force/being for yourself. Your own experiences with said force/being will most likely give you the facts you are looking for. Of course, this isn't to say you should ignore information when deciding what to do or what not to do.. use common sense, what feels right/wrong etc. 2hp

You are...: a master

I was just asking myself the same...for example on MMT site the Amadan is described as both dark and light...maybe the ones offered by CH are a totally different kind?
