I know a couple families who are very secretive about their past and where they come from. Often when the little ones get out it causes a little bit of a mass panic haha.

If it wasn't already clear to begin with -- any still-living or ancestors of vampiric and other supernatural lineage, would not be so stupid as to advertise themselves. If someone among you is advertising yourself as we speak, I'd highly advise to stop.
Don't look for that here, don't look for it at all, and if it comes upon you, don't speak about it. Telling what you think you know about connections you think exist is just as bad. Leave it alone.

I don’t really trust humanity as a whole so I don’t actively look to find other species here on earth and want to out them in any way.

You, because families that have been a secret for maybe centuries are secret for a reason and stayed that way for a reason. People have disappeared for less. I'm sure if they were what you allude to, they would have their ways to make people go silent.

Them, because if anyone found out they might be bothered or worse. Nobody wants crazies throwing molotov cocktails through windows and setting houses on fire. Because this too has happened for less reasons, like skin color.

Unless of course you're just making stuff up, then all of this is moot anyway.

I'm with Vipera. I have no personal experience with the subject, but I can imagine that if I were a full-blood living vampire, I wouldn't want to advertise my vampirism to the world.
It is important to respect the privacy and safety of others. We can honor that by leaving someone's personal life alone.
It's a thread, and everyone should have the right to their own opinion. Let us all be open-minded.

I’m sure real living vampires, and other beings, exist but they may not be the way Hollywood portrayed them. Regardless, they stay hidden for a reason - you have more power and control operating behind the scene than in front of a spotlight.

I'm speaking from common sense. And it was a reminder to anyone, not solely you, but seeing as you're offended by it - maybe you need it most.

Apart from the risk of exposing those who do not wish to be found/identified (for good reason), do you understand that there are people who would target you if they thought you could give them information on still-living beings of this nature?

Then throw in persons who are deeply troubled, merely believing they are vampires and would not mind exposing themselves - in violent ways - if it brought validation to their 'condition'. Anyone hoping to stumble upon vampires online or in other public spaces could easily be lured in by a predator of the human variety, this has happened multiple times. It's not a cute curiosity, it is a real problem. People get drawn in by the fantasy and end up in very bad situations. That is pertinent to mention on this particular thread. I don't mind being extreme when I have seen people from this very community fall into such traps.

This is not to give a bad name to vampires, they are well aware of all of the above. I have worked with vampire spirits my entire life; anyone who is this intimate with vampires and what has spawned of vampire culture will understand the dangers.

My point was to warn against exposure, not to stifle discussion. Now I'm also warning against readily believing anyone who implies they may know vampires or are a vampire. You're free to dislike what I say, it won't change the truth.
There's a difference between connecting with vampirism spiritually/energetically, and trifling with lives. Though to be fair, people get themselves into some questionable situations with the former as well where obsession is a factor.

The biggest issue I feel from a lot of folks online is insecurity and fear regarding this subject nowadays and it's a sad reality. Having a healthy informed view of any subject is important to be involved in any sort of level so to speak. Now someone saying they know a thing or two without saying anything explicit or sharing personal info, etc shouldn't be an issue. I want you to ask yourself why you feel such negativity so instantly regarding this subject. Were you not allowed to be a apart of these discussions and circles of non humans in the past thus you feel the need to stifle others curiosity and interest in reaching out even metaphysically? I understand the healthy need to remind everyone to be safe first right. Such is the nature of the beast. Its dual natured. The internet can be unsafe in many ways not just internet forums. I see no laws being broken here. Now I'm gonna exercise my free will and right to say that yes I know non humans. Vampiric beings. Shapeshifting lycan beings. Lizard beings.
