Heads up… This is a cooking ritual
What you’ll need:
*Cornbread (bought or homemade)
*3 Celery Stalks
*5 Large Fresh Sage Leaves (the edible kind)
*Butter, Margarine or Oil (any type of oil will work; I personally prefer olive oil)
STEP 1: Make or buy cornbread. Make sure it dries out a little before you use it.
STEP 2: Crumble the cornbread into a bowl.
STEP 3: Dice one onion, 3 large stalks of celery, and 5 large (fresh) sage leaves.
STEP 4: Sauté the onions and celery in butter or oil.
STEP 5: Add the crumbled up semi-stale cornbread.
STEP 6: Drizzle lots of chicken broth over everything.
STEP 7: Add the minced sage leaves.
STEP 8: Bake this in a 325-degree Fahrenheit oven (170 degrees Celsius) for 20 minutes, or until done.
STEP 9: Eat as a side dish with anything, even better...put it in your leftover turkey sandwiches....
