So, I have a friend who asked me if I could help him figure out what exactly this person was—unluckily for him, I have no idea in the slightest. I asked him if he'd be alright with me asking here, and he said yes.

Anyhow, from what he's told me, he was very sickly as a baby—when he was a baby, he would constantly get a swollen throat, no matter what he drank or ate. This changed when a woman blew into his mouth, ridding him of the constant swelling. He is still alergic to bees and wasps, but everything else just disappeared. He was about 2 when this happened.

For more info, he told me she was the 7th child of a 7th child of a 7th child of a 7th child. A really long chain of 7s, basically. He told me she was likely of Dutch origins. She also told my friend's mother that if she thanked her for doing the work she did, that healing would come undone. She left the town shortly after that. She is supposedly dead now.

If you have any ideas as to what she might be, please do share. We're both very curious as to what she could've been (whether it mean she has closer ties to any non-human DNA she could have, or if she just practiced a particular kind of healing magick).

But why is it that they only mention having generations of the 7th son and not generations of a 7th daughter? Is that just society or is that significant in some way?

i think you can also have the 7th generation for daughters as well
