Seems to me that due to the drama going on the other day getting into some rather serious territory, and that having been reported, admin may have seen fit to close off the chat for the time being until whatever is figured out.
The reason Nycto and I can still see chat is maybe to do with us having small admin permissions; Nycto if you are still leader of the LHP group (correct me if I am mistaken) you'd have that, and I am leader of the Honored group so I can see chat still as well.
