If the spirit spouse came to you, and you let them have the vessel.
Is this also spirit keeping,too?

You mean like an unbound showed up and you provided it a vessel? If that's what you mean then yeah, a spirit can bind itself to you or a vessel. However, you should get it interviewed by someone competent in communication to ensure its not malicious.

It probably attached itself to the vessel. And yes, I would still consider it Spirit Keeping. You could ask CH to check your spirit and get it bound to your vessel, that's much safer and permanent.

I have used the CH Binding Unbounds box to bind spirit spouses, who were 'attached'. They have to be willing. The advice about getting them checked out sounds like common sense, unless you have known them for a long time and are sure about them. A reliable bound protection spirit can check out unbounds and keep away what you don't want. Volkhs are known to be excellent at that.
If spirit keeping is about bound spirits then of course that must surely also be spirit keeping...imho.

When you say the "spirit spouse came to you" do you mean an unbound spirit or a spirit that you have had bound already?
When you say "let them have a vessel" do you mean you had them bound, let them attach themselves to a vessel, that you gave them a vessel that already had a spirit bound to it, or that you only offered them a vessel?

I'm making the assumption this spirit spouse is one you've had for awhile and is a spirit you've built a connection with... but it was an unbound from the beginning that you allowed for them to be attached to a vessel.
I'd consider it spirit keeping still.
I kind of really agree with everyone else though that hopefully this is a spirit with good intentions and that isn't trying to deceive you/manipulate you/etcetera but otherwise I'd consider it spirit keeping no matter what relation you have to the spirit...really up to you.
