Yes my landlord told me that a bat has never entered their home so far. I live in the terrace and they live in the lower floors of the same house. The kids saw the bat flying to the lower floors from the top floor when they came to check up on me after they heard my scream... There is a big banyan tree just outside the compound of the house and in India Banyan trees for some reason usually house ghosts... Perhaps while I am trying to communicate with my spirit( who is yet to arrive) I inadvertently may have attracted something else...

What are the protection that you do?

Protection is key when engaging in the paranormal. When I first started spirit keeping I did not have much in the way of protection. I only had two protection spell bindings, but it was not enough! Basically I was being trolled by a couple of unsavory unbound spirits pretending to be my bound spirit companion. It was not a fun experience. I ordered a Volkh from CH and as soon as "he" arrived all of that stuff stopped! I highly recommend getting a Volkh. They are great for beginners and get to work as soon as they arrive.

Well...I have gone through a lot of crazy spiritual experiences that I don't think I will ever be ready to fully talk about online... I'd have to practically write a book to truly detail what I have gone through but I've written about it here and there on the forums, sometimes out of habit because I still have trauma from it lol. About the bat though - It wasn't so much of me experiencing the bat but my ex-partner. But I remember the awful feeling I had that day because I knew something was strange (back then I was also constantly having premonition dreams of things that ended up happening to my ex), and the elder witch that lived near my ex told me the bat is a bad sign. I used to talk to this elder witch and her nephew a lot because she is also a private medium and psychic. She knew something was going to happen, and I did too.

My ex is someone who can see spirits, she's also clairvoyant like me. I can't see spirits though so her abilities are a bit different than mine. She grew up all her life around spirits, and she normally avoided the basement level of the house she lived in. Nobody ever went into the basement because there is a bat that lived in there back then, and it would never come out. Anyway, one day while my ex was extremely sick, the bat ended up flying into her room and circling around on her ceiling (thing is nobody touched the door, the door opened itself)... this was shortly before a lot of bad incidents happened that same day and the following weeks and months.

I like doing cleansings.. I know in reality I am a very messy person, and so for me it is something I require myself to do. I was taught both by my ex and the elder that you don't need to necessarily do anything fancy. Cleansing the space can get rid of the small entities that hide in the mess. I flick water in the corners of the room with a glass cup, and also leave a glass cup of water filled with Florida Water on my altar now. I change it out whenever it depletes or gets too dirty. I think everyone does their protections differently and have equally as good methods, but I do protection rituals every now and then too on my altar.. I make my own small protection sachets I carry with me and I got myself a protection bottle from another witch online. That's just some examples ^^

Hi. The suggestion to not feed into fear is a good one. As you're Christian you might like to know that the Archangel Michael is thought to be very effective at bringing protection on the astral plane. You only need to do a sincere prayer to him, if you're scared about something on that level. You don't need to know how to do a complicated ritual or get it 'right' for this to work and it's not about bargaining with them to help you. A telepathic emergency call to Archangel Michael will bring their protective influence. If you got it wrong and the threat isn't what you thought, they won't hold it against you.

I wasn't previously all that good at doing my own shielding etc but now I have protection bindings and spirits and sentient guardians too, I feel the most protected I have ever been.

I still have to watch my thought patterns and energy patterns. Feeding into fear is almost a kind of self cursing or self attack which can generate genuine metaphysical phenomena.

I was considering Volkh before... Then I got my gregori Coz I thought that binding has additional benefits than Volkh.. But lately I read any amount of protection is not enough .... I am at the moment restraining myself from buying anymore bindings till the spirits I ordered already arrive... though everyday I look at the listings on CH and am tempted

The bat was circling my ceiling too.. initially I thought it was a night butterfly or moth ... then I realised it was too big for a moth or butterfly.... If the witch you know said it’s bad then I agree it is bad... I hate getting signs of something that I don’t have control of ... Decided everyday I get back to my room from work , first thing I am going to do is protection.. If it’s related to spirits hopefully they go away... If it’s a sign foretelling death or bad health then I unfortunately can’t do anything about it... for the past few days I have pain in the joint between the ear and jaw and the pain just keeps growing... had just been to the doc yesterday who gave an anti inflammation med for couple of days and then told me to consult an ENT specialist or facio maxillary surgeon if it does not subside ... As I read the bat thingy could be a sign of ill health I am wondering if that could have anything to do with this.

I am not used to calling on the names of Archangels... I was raised to only pray to Jesus ... So I pray to Jesus and hope he sends whoever can do the job... So far it works , has taken care of bad dreams , and helped me in many things....as long as I pray regularly I feel guided and protected.., the problem is I am not consistent in my method and I am lazy and a heavy procrastinator ..., That is my problem I guess lol..

The bat could’ve just been a representation of DA energy. It seems when I get DA beings from CH I have random things happen to me that aren’t super great xD like when I had Djinn on the way from them suddenly ants where in my room. Just for ONE day. Then I got the email that they were bound. Never saw the ants again. Then the time I got a vamp and a bug bit that same day before it arrived. Just small things lol though I guess it depends on how you look at it. If a bat visited me I’d be very happy x D

Yep. There is no such thing as too much protection! I feel you though. It is very easy to look at the listings and find myself buying more bindings LOL. It is probably a good idea to wait for your other spirits to arrive before getting a Volkh.

You are spot on with this. My gregori Watcher has arrived today -D.. But not the one from CH that I expected as I ordered from CH much earlier Than the one from the 2nd Seller and the one from CH was preconjure... So R wh o is a Custom Conjure arriving Way ahead was a pleasant Surprise and I am in already 1lo ... I dont feel any Touch or manifestation after the invokation, but the knowing thats he is there... he knows that i'll her spooked at the moment if there is any Kind of sign from him and I am a 0 in 6th Sense. He must be knowing about the bat story hehe , and decided to go Easy in me.
