Pendulum Suggestions

I have always enjoyed interacting with my companions with pendulums. However, those that I've had so far have had really cheap (I hate using that word) chains that kink up and in my experience become less responsive the more kinks that occur.

Are there pendulums that work with leather, suede or different types of links that kink less? I have several books on pendulums and none of them really say one way or the other whether the chain has to be metallic.

Also.. anybody have a suggested merchant for higher end pendulums?

It doesn't have to be metallic, it's just a matter of which you vibe well with because in the end, you're going to cleanse out the previous owner/seller's energy and all who have come in contact with it.

Thanks. A couple of my companions really enjoy pendulum time so I didn't want to replace it with something they weren't receptive to.

Nice to read about how you bond with your spirits and interact with pendulums with them.

Totally understandable. I have ones with metal chains that was all shiny and metallic when it was new, now it got oxidized and lack lustre.

Some people just use a string and a ring, it works for them just fine. So look for chains that won't oxidize over time. Or better create your own pendulum with your creativity.

And yesterday I decided to do just that! I went to a few shops with custom made pendulums to see if anything called to me. Found a really great one and I ordered a custom handmade chain for it. In the meantime I'm going to use a string.

So, I got a fantastic pendulum stone last week. I've just been waiting for the custom chain to arrive. Its amazing! If anybody is looking for Pendulums or Pendulum accessories I strongly suggest Spiral Crow Pendulums on Etsy. She does some great work on custom orders!
