So I had a dream tonight that centered on a few things I thought would be interesting:

A dusky dark road surrounded by Woodlands, and a large bird standing off to one side that made one of my friend's little sisters in the dream afraid to pass by without a car

To get a car, or more accurately a functioning car as ours had broken down, we allowed ourselves to be picked up by what I can only call a "Chad" and his merry meatbag friends.

We were driven to a club that was half fancy dinner restaurant-half arcade, and during our time spent there, my friend wished to be relatively calm and suave, if only to buy time I thought. So I played along.

Eventually taking multiple trips to the bathroom because it was becoming overwhelming to deal with how he would speak and look at us. Her sister would follow me in occasionally and we'd spend time releasing steam by just assuring ourselves that he's a sleaze and we're just staying for the car - and also throwing shade at him, for good measure.

During one particular visit to said loo, one of the guys in his group walked in on us chatting and said something I can't quite remember, but it was towards my friend's sister whom' was still a teenager. I grabbed her hand and escorted her out of the bathroom only to be threatened by Chad, being told we'd never get out and that they were going to sell us. My friend scoffed and dashed out from behind him, and I followed suit, quite quickly for someone who never wears heels. I blamed it on how clearly drunk I felt at that point - though whether it was from alcohol or an adrenaline high only few could say for sure.

We made it to the car, and I spent time making sure the two of them were inside before circling around to my own. When I got in, a homeless man tried to run over, but we had already begun driving away. At that point I made sure all the doors were locked, and before waking up I looked over at our rescuer and realized...ayy, she kinda cute.

Total buzzkill to wake up right after by the way. I would've enjoyed chatting.

Also this dream sounds like a men suck story but in my eyes I don't think that's the case. One, because I'm an equalist more or less, so I don't necessarily think that way. I think that the bird resembled a message of predator or might have symbolized a Harpy. I think that the men also symbolized that message, useful but dangerous in the situation we happened to be in. They got our car out of the woods, but they were still ready to harm us after the fact. Whether this dream is telling me to look into a Harpy companion or run like hell away from the idea, I'm not entirely sure.

Honestly, I'm more interested in my friend whom' I apparently knew much of in the dream, but lucid me didn't know squat outside of how analytical she appeared to be. She didn't come across as a companion either...nor did she resemble someone I know in my waking life...it's odd.

PS: Also I'm likely going to use this thread for future dreams to avoid making multiple threads.

Ishvala

This is an interesting dream at the very least. Birds, depending on the type, can very realistically be predators (see "raptor")

This is your thread. And if you allow it, to avoid multiple threads, I would like to share here as well. Maybe at another time, though.

The threats, other than the bird, seem to be masculine energies... which is odd, because I perceived you to be masculine. Not saying you aren't masculine. Just saying that you running in heels honestly felt out of place in my brain. But given the days events, I'm gonna toss logic out of the window for now.

I am not a dream interpreter in the slightest sense of the words. But you and your friends took control of a situation. A situation that was meant to be beyond your control. I suggest taking this route in your everyday life. Seems like you should be more assertive

But that's just my 2 cents

Sharing dreams in general sounds fun and I highly encourage it, but the purpose of the thread is to keep all of my dream posts in one place. I think that if you plan on posting multiple dreams, sometimes multiple a week even, you may want to create your own thread for the sake of organization. Still, I certainly can't stop you if you choose to ignore that suggestion. :P

Due to the way I write I can be percieved as a highly prideful, assertive sort and that often translates to masculine energy over the passive feminine counterpart. I've been mistaken by females and males alike due to the way I write when not using a particularly feminine avatar, so it's no surprise you'd think this. That aside, yes, I am female. One who will likely break her neck even standing in heels no doubt let alone walking or running in them.

My companions tell me the same often, almost daily. They wish for me to run off some place better, healthier for me. It may just be my dreams trying to further their message.

Dinner with vampires

This dream is a bit odd because I remember parts but not necessarily entire portions due to waking up and falling back asleep multiple times (curse you redbull addiction). Still, I try to write down as much as I can even if memory is fuzzy. So...

The first portion I can remember clearly is that I was out with someone I'm involved in a relationship with. He and I were speaking to several females, and they were all telling or asking me things about myself, "You enjoy the taste of blood on occasion?", "Vampire.", "Do you ever bay at the moon such as stories portray?", "Are you interested in any of us?" Etc.

I walked one of the females home, but it turns out that when I arrived there, I was being prepared for a "Boss battle" with the king of Vampires (I can feel every Vampire ever laughing at me). I got passed each "floor" easily enough, I don't remember outright murdering anyone but I remember speed and Intimidation tactics seemed to be my go to. When I arrived into the last room a very creepy setting took place; it was dimly lit, and the very large figure of what could only be described as a giant corpse encased in hardened molten rock.

As soon as I entered, it began to move, so I left the room to see if video game logic applied like the others or if it could go where it pleased. Fancy my surprise when it waltzes into the next room over with me, and appears to be quite a sexy Male vamp. I'm twenty one, and a nerd to some degree, so of course I don't want to kill him. I avoid small ranged attacks as he sings a song I can't necessarily remember. I can't tell if he's singing to me, or just having a Demon Barber moment. Eventually I turn to move passed him and he grabs me into a dance, and as he does so, he begins warning me of other females and picking me up further so I could cling around his waist as he guided me. He didn't seem like he wanted to kill me, and seemed far more interested in aiding me or taking me for himself. I didn't get a name, nor a number unfortunately - but his singing was quite nice.

Murderous School Nurse:

Also as a side portion of my dreams when i woke up and went back to sleep, i dreamt that one of my elementary school nurses was arrested for murder, and that she escaped her cell without anyone knowing how it happened. It was allegedly impossible to do.

Oh also I had a dream about my SO giving me medication that would cause me to get sick (throw up) and he explained it would make me better, and wouldn't believe it was making me sick even though it very much was. It was an odd dream, but a small one, and I forgot to include it in the above since I only just now remembered it.

This entry will also be a bit short, as I've been having dreams and then not writing them down when the details are fresh in my mind. I remember there were two moments of interest, but I only recall one of them: I was told that Lucifer never once set foot in heaven. I don't remember who told me, or the context behind that was, but it was an interesting message to recieve. Accurate or not.

Something odd happened last night after a terribly boring game session with friends. I finally got some time to myself when I was hit with an intense wave of exhaustion and basically fell into bed with my SO before promptly passing out...

---

Afterwards, I'd woken up, and he wasn't in bed. Seeing that yesterday was thursday, it made sense since he works nights on fridays, but the thing that gave off that I was in a lucid dream was the woman in the bed next to me. She's someone I know in life, and someone I love quite a bit, in more ways than one. She'd recently gone through a terrible accident and (thankfully) she made it out in one piece and is healing up quite nicely to boot. Still, out of habit I asked her how she was feeling, if her back was okay, and so on and so forth.

She mentioned only having a few hours to be here with me, because my SO would be home soon and he wasn't a fan of her. I wanted to speak with her and enjoy the fact that she was here, but as soon as she hugged me that same wave of exhaustion hit. I practically drowned in her scent and before I knew it I heard the door opening, and she was gone...

---

I'd woken up for real at that point, and turned to see my SO sleeping soundly beside me. Eventually I fell back asleep, and had another lucid dream...

---

I was in a store, and I'd picked out a shirt that i wanted since i don't often get to have new clothes and some such. My SO agreed to get the shirt for me, and i was ecstatic, but when we went to ring it up, he claimed to have forgotten it and called it unimportant. I'm uncertain why I felt so angry, in hindsight it might have been various built up frustrations over the past three years coming out all at once towards him over a dumb shirt of all things, but whatever the case I immediately lost it and called a friend to pick me up. I left that same night, and on the drive away, I expressed not wanting to hurt him or take my money back from him (I have bought his next apartment irl) even though the friend in the dream tried to convince me otherwise. Saying the more I give, the more he'll have the opportunity to take from me. I mostly shrugged it off save for feeling at ends with myself, left the money with him, and gathered my belongings.

---

The dream ended around that point and I woke up for good that time, as I'd already been sleeping for quite a few hours. While I have an idea of the messages presented, I'm also uncertain of whether they came from my higher self or my Spirits (or both). The female in the dream could have easily been my Desire Demon trying to fulfill a need of mine that I've been pushing down for quite some time, but it could have also just been my subconscious trying to show me a new angle to a situation.

The second portion of the dream could have been my higher self telling me that I'm dooming myself if I help him more, that it's better to just leave, or else I'll be giving up so much that I lose myself. Even if it's just represented as a shirt in this scenario...or it could just be my subconscious trying to show me things from a different angle.

All in all, it felt real enough to be a more lucid experience rather than just the average dream. I had choices to make and actively interacted with my surroundings. I could smell her scent, feel the tears run down my cheeks in rage whilst standing in the store, sense the pit of urgency and depression building in my gut on the drive away. It was intense...but was it my spirits, or just extensions of my subconscious? This is what makes dream messages a headache at times lol.

Also an extra fun fact: while writing this a shadow whizzed by. It's bright out given that it's morning and there's a large window in this room. Seeing as I'm facing it, I didn't notice a bird or anything specific block out light to cause such a mist-like apparition. So it was a nice little good morning call from a friend. ♡

Sirens and Cait Sidhe's

This was a dream that was a bit odd for a number of reasons, especially because of how it jumped around to various settings. It started off with myself being involved in what I can only describe as an "Amateur Acting Gig" in which I was meant to play the part of a wolf shifting creature who helps two brother wolves as they acclimate to the area they move to - as well as develop a love side plot with one of them. I remember distinctly noticing their fur; Darkened chocolate brown, an array of russets and lighter browns, and my own which was a creamy white. I couldn't tell their Species, but my guess would be that they were timber wolves, or some other larger breed, whereas I was something smaller and quicker on my feet (paws?) - a Hudson bay wolf based on the coat and skull shape. I researched too much about animals as a kid lol.

Anyway, the dream is mostly just us walking around and wondering when the acting is supposed to start. At one point we automatically sink into our roles before the camera starts rolling because of how accurate it is to us as people and our relationship with each other. I remember thinking, "Wait did we start already?" But nope. We wound up starting later on, and by then, the entire process whizzed by so fast that I couldn't get ahold of what was going on.

Before I knew it the after party was around, or perhaps it was just a different filming gig. Could have fooled me with how fake everyone seemed to be. There was a large room with snacks, drinks, quite a few people, and a large indoor pool. When I got into the pool, I remember being very anxious and afraid. There was a blonde girl who really took to the water well and she seemed to know me so we swam around a bit. I remember her looking shocked and dissatisfied in me, but I don't remember why. I just remember swimming by her and a very particular expression coming across her face. There was a lot of body language involved in the dream, because apparently this woman could hold her breath forever whereas I'm an asthmatic $%&^ that can barely hold it for five seconds underwater. Either way, lots of smiles, laughs, and rated T for Teen things occurred in that pool and it was fun. Except that one moment where she looked sad/mad but it basically just went away. Not sure why.

After that I wound up in a car debating political things with various individuals before heading into the backseat to speak with a guy. He seemed more fatherly than anything else, encouraging me and telling me that he'd help me study and pass an exam. Except I'm not in school so the promise was odd. Then he eventually threw up because someone refused to pull over. I'm not sure why he threw up on the side door of the van when both doors in the back were fully open but...I'll leave it up to him wanting to have class.

Speaking of those back doors, I was looking out into the forest as we were passing by and I saw a puma-sized skinny cat with white eyes approach me. It was as if it approached me through the heavy fog, as it was difficult to make out at first. It didn't say anything or look a certain way outside of the above features, it just observed me and then went back into the mist.

After that I woke up.
