I am quite confused about the subject.
I think I have always been "space-aware" , I mean , different places always left a strong feeling in me, be it positive or negative. I have always been known by my close friends and relaives as a totally rational person, and probably I have never told anyone about the feelings I get from the places i visit. i always wondered if these feelings come from the place's energy itself or my mind. Quite recently something happened, I don't know what, that I started to be progressively less influenced by the place's energy (as I said , less "space-aware"), and started to convince myself that it's all in my mind. But there are places, especially those one linked to specific groups of people , that still give me a strong (generally negative ) feeling .
I wonder if this is linked to the place, to the persons belonging to it, or to something else I cannot see , maybe spirits of the place, negative energies or anything else. This kind of feeling really upsets me , no matter how i try to convince myself that it's all in my mind, to the point that I develop physical ailments. Recently I realized , with a friend of mine that we could be both under the attack of "something", due to the special series of unlucky concindences that affect the both of us (we are trying to start a business together): my friend is into spiritualism and we both decided she asks a person she knows to investigate about our energetic situation (recently she told me her friend saw "something very bad about me",but she didn' t want to tell me because she thought I wouldn't have believed her) . I am waiting for the investigation outcome ... but for now, anyone can give me any advices

I'm not sure if this helps but...I've been sensitive in that way for decades.

As it's something that's been a big part of my life, I have a fair few things to say about it. Hope this isn't too long for you and that it least contains something useful.

Looking back, I think there are a number of factors that can be at work:

- our minds / energetic set up can be angled towards attracting negativity;
- we all have 'waste' negative energy in or around us naturally;
- we can 'be' negative;
- we can sense other's negativities;
- we can sense 'stains' left in places;
- crowds can leave strong energy impressions, which includes negativity;
- what some people call egregores (the summation of the energy of an area created out of people and events there) naturally tend to try and impose their patterned energy on what they come in contact with; (they almost seem to have their own survival instinct)
- that kind of egregore can be quite intense in a city.

Another way to describe some or all of that is as being part of the psychic background out there that affects us all - thought many aren't so sensitive to it.

I class all the above as being natural kinds of negativity.

The things in the above list (I may have missed some things out) are quite distinct from intentionally sending negativity to someone, whether that is from a living human being or from a non-physical being. (ie Literal attack.)

Also I suppose you could include when someone who knows you, but isn't psychically aware, is thinking negative things about you.

So 'psychic attack' symptoms can come from the arguably natural stuff hanging around out there. Most experienced commentators tend to say this is far more common than being intentionally targeted.

There's quite a lot that can be going on due to our mental processes or attitudes. We can attract more of the same. If we are not happy with our life path or are not really fulfilling our life purpose, we can kind of attack ourselves unknowingly. Also if we fear that a psychic attack is happening, we can generate what Franz Bardon called a 'schema'. That is, our mental energy can attract events in such a way as to 'confirm' to us that we are under an attack from someone or something nefarious. This will be a genuinely magical effect produced by our own fears and mental energy.

The solutions are the classic protection methods. Cleanse the aura and chakras, shield and protect your aura / energy body. Regulate the openness of your chakras and/or learn how to shutter them. Use protection spells/bindings. Have protection spirits. Develop a clear mental attitude. Be able to banish and protect your space. Don't do psychic or magical stuff without protection. This is probably a woefully incomplete list. The advice is you can never have too much protection.

Lastly, genuine attack from someone who is competent is generally speaking not the norm. So don't immediately assume the worst.

And for things you can't cope with by taking standard precautions like those mentioned above, you can consult an expert practitioner. (Creepy Hollows do this.)

Some people are more sensitive than others to the negativity in the psychic background. I thought of myself as being what they used to call clairsentient in that respect, which nowadays is more likely to be called a form of uncontrolled empathy.

Once I realised that I am empathic in that way, I started to deal with it differently.

A few things work well for me:

- masking my aura to 3' or 2' (so I don't get myself mixed up too much with the psychic background around me). This is in terms of what I call the 6' aura that many people will be familiar with. Empaths can sometimes find their energy is literally all over the place and they are wide open. It can be good to be able to gain some control over your own energies.

- I have a tuner from CH that allows the user to set what level of sensitivity you want to be functioning at. And you can use it tune out various levels of DA energy or spirits should you wish to. You can vary it at any time via codewords. This gives me some welcome relief from the psychic background.

When I wore that for the first time, I began to feel clearer and less clogged with ambient negative energy.

I wonder if there's a way to detect if the energy comes from a specific person .The fact that a person is upset by the energy means he/she 's receiving it , and maybe with that some more information about the source. I observed that concentrating my mind ( a task which , in specific situations, can be very very hard) kind of lessens the effect of negative energy this could mean that by closing your mind you don't allow the flow of bad energy/information to come in .... right the opposite of when you open it, leaving your thoughts to run wild and free, allowing the enemy to enter ...I dont know if these two situations correspond respectively to closing/opening your chakra . But all this could mean another thing too that is, concentration could shut temporarily the flow of negative thoughts that you constantly generate, and mistake for negative energy coming from outside. I am quite convinced that both things can generally happen. I am sure that, at least sometimes, i am the one who creates negativity,and in this case i can only hope to become able to keep my thoughts under control on the other side I suspect some people who surround me who , quite consciously and voluntarily, wish for the worst for me and people close to me :the only thing I don't know is if they affect my mind directly, or the environments I live in ,the air, the places and so on.They say that if you wish for the worst about a person , the law of karma sooner or later ask you for a price .... but I don't always see this happening ...

You can focus your mind by closing your aura, imagining it to be closed and impervious to other people's energies. You can specify that it is open to such and such a person but closed to others. Or that it is closed and impervious to outside influences from your surroundings. Protect your aura - a common simple technique is the bubble of white light

Basically the standard protection techniques I referred in my post above will help you with what you mention. It's worth taking time to looking into all of that. There are quite a few aspects to protection. They say you can never have too much of it. There are threads in this forum.

You can protect against things without needing to first know exactly what they are. A good mix of protections can help with a wide range of metaphysical problems.

I don't know who said "many problems one solution" but the one solution to all kinds of psychic attack or negativity problems tends as a rule to be: learn and do protection. I'm oversimplifying but you hopefully you'll know what I mean.

thanks for the Info ...I have an update ...something that I would never believe could happen. Cause of my worrying array of unlucky experiences ,I asked for the opinion of some friend who is into spirit religion ... more precisely a lady from Brazil who professes an animist religion . She lived with me for a couple of years before relocating, and she recently told me that she always knew something was wrong with my house,but she'd never tell me because she knew I wouldn't believe her. I encouraged her to talk, she told me that a lady who can be called her spiritual mother, without knowing anything of the house and me, tried some sort of ritual to purify her,and was shocked at what she saw she told her the person (me) in the house where she (my friend) lived at the time was seriously harassed by an "entity" whose nature she didnt know, but really existed and was very far from good .... now that she told me ,I asked her if she could give me some more info about that and she, who is not a powerful person from a psychic point of view, proposed me to call a friend of her, in Brazil, who is very powerful and can perform rituals to clean situations like this. Yesterday we spoke to the person, with my friend acting as an interpreter (I dont speak portuguese) we already sent this lady some picture of me and my house, and her response was that the house itself is severely haunted this explains why I always felt unconfortable in my house (but she didn't know in advance). We left the lady who promised to try to help remotely. Meanwhile I started to wonder ..as I said I am not very inclined to believe in such things. I always doubt and look for proofs and evidences .... So yesterday evening i was alone at home... my cell phone was charging while I was in the bathroom and suddenly I told myself if some entity is haunting my house, why doesn't it show up so I asked the entity direcly (in my mind)..."why don't you proove you are real " after just a couple of seconds i saw my cell phone, in the corner of my eye , flickering like crazy, as if someone was sliding the touch screen repeatedly ... I walked to the phone , looking at the sequence of images it was flashing, and by the time i was there, the phone was in standby, asking for the unlocking code.... This strange phenomenon really baffled me . Sure could be a coincindence , but how many chances are for it I talked to my brazilian friend about this and she scolded me severely, she said that my "calling of the entity" is something one should never do, at least not an untrained person like me.In doing this, she said, i invite the entity to stay , instead of chasing it .... and given this entity seems to be "sucking away" my energy , i end up worsening the situation. I don't know if i can laugh about all of this or have to take it seriousy yesterday as the two ladies were talking about my case they didn't seem to be serious, they tend to take all this with humour but at the same time they are very serious about it it's in their culture to take all this as normal things that's why they even joke about it , when instead in our culture we are scared like crazy (the ones who believe). I sometimes wonder if the phenomenon i witnessed could be created by myself , without any external intervention . I read that what is called "poltergeist", and was once believed to be the manifestation of deads' spirits ,is actually a form of unconscious psychkinesis ,which has a "focus" , that is a person who, unwillingly, causes all the phenomena. I wonder if my case could be a very light case of poltergeist.Afteer all the old lady from Brazil said that I , even if not a medium, have a kind of sensitivity to this forms of energy ....

So I'm not practitioner. I don't help people on a professional basis. These are just some thoughts and some information which may be useful for you, in light of the experiences you've talked about.

1 Protection

Many people strongly recommend that having some protection is crucial with the paranormal. (I'm repeating myself on that, cf my first and second posts.)

2 Calling / communicating with spirits

So some people are happy to communicate with any spirit in their home. But they can do that more safely if they know how to protect themselves, for example if they have a specialist protection spirit companion.

But if you feel this presence is negative or harmful, and if you are inexperienced at working with spirits, is it really a good idea to want to connect with it?

Others prefer to be far more cautious and will banish any spirits they do not feel comfortable with and will cleanse their home.

I read wi-fi is really harmful to such entities, both good and bad .... do you have any info about that even emissions on the mobile band (read edge-lte-5g) are enough to keep them off...the problem is that continuous exposure to such emf is harmful to humans as well....

The How To link I mentioned is to an effective method for banishing. Personally I wouldn't bother trying to banish via wi fi instead. I hope that helps.
