Which spirit keeping book to practically learn it?

Do you know a good book that can help someone on their path? Or, are you looking for a certain type of book?

You are...: a master
Male/Female: It's a Secret

Hi,

there are as far as I could find 3 books in the CH shop on spirit keeping

1) Spirit Keeping - A Guide For Spirit Keepers
https://shop.creepyhollows.com/spirit-k ... 5eb-AEe5TA

2) Spirit Keeping Book For Advanced Keepers
https://shop.creepyhollows.com/spirit-k ... nload.html

and

3) Life Behind the Mirror - A Spirit Keeper's Journey
https://shop.creepyhollows.com/life-beh ... nload.html

Has anyone read any books of these and can review/recommend me? I don't want to buy all 3 for financial but also because I find reading tiresome. I just want to get on with learning a good foundation that I can practically work with.

In another thread the review about book 1 was that it is contained mostly in the stickys here in the forum and that book 2 was the more in depth one. As for book 3, I think that one goes even for the further experience, who want to expand their knowledge even more.

Greetings,
1Wiz

Hi

I have all 3 of those books.

I thought that most of the info in the first book is to be found in this forum, the Encyclopedia and Shop articles. It would still be worth getting, just to have it all together in an accessible form.

I would say there are extra things in the Advanced Spirit Keeping book that aren't as easily come across here.

So maybe, if you don't like reading too much, you haven't yet read widely and absorbed all the info in the basic / sticky posts and threads here and in the Encyclopedia?

If that is so, maybe start with the first book?

If you think you *have* absorbed all of that key info already, I suggest the Advanced book. It has a lot of useful How To / Tips for spirit keeping.

But so do the White Arts and Dark Arts books - and they have spells and energy exercises too.

The Life Behind the Mirror Book for me validates the journey we're on as spirit keepers.

Paranormal 101 - the university course - costs far more but, if finances permit, it would help to do that course nearer the start of the spirit keeping journey, if possible.

Number of Spirits: 75
Spelled Number: 44
Your favorite spirit to work with: Dragons
If I could be anything, I would be...: goddess
My super power would be...: Ability to shape-shift

I have all three books as well. The one I thought added more to my own journey is the third book The Life Behind the Mirror.

I was just thinking this same thing. I've been doing everything piecemeal, but I'm at the very beginning and just wanted to focus my reading on specific things. Thanks, Lewk! I'll have to get the paranormal book.

You're welcome. I got that later and wished I'd got it earlier.

I also highly recommend the Advanced Spirit Keeping book plus either the Great White Arts Guidance or Great Dark Arts Guidance books,as they complement Paranormal101 & don't duplicate what's in it.

YES! I was wondering how different each one was from the Paranormal 101. You've convinced me that this is the right choice.

Book 1 was putting all information in a logical and chronological order and still and still should be bought as its an introductionary reading and greatly helps fill holes when your reading book 2, cause the 70% of the knowledge is new or builds from book 1.
As for book 3 it's in my wishlist 😆
