I got a binding of a past life and I finally got the information on it.. I must say it caught me by surprise..

PAST LIFE, GIANT, MALE. HE HAS LONG SHAGGY BROWN HAIR, GREEN EYES, AND FAIR SKIN. HE IS 10 FEET TALL AND HAS A LARGE AND STURDY BUILD. HE IS PROTECTIVE, FIERCE, INTIMIDATING, AND VERY CLEVER.

A GIANT? I was not expecting that! Oddly I have brown hair, green eyes, and fair skin.. But definitely not 10 ft tall.. Well at least I was tall in one of my lives
I am not really sure how to connect with this spirit.. I feel like it is much easier with other spirits but for one that is or was me or I was it.. idk I just cant seem to wrap my brain around it. When I seen the listing for past life binding I was like "wow I can learn so much about myself" but now I'm just confused.
So I am like his future self.. do you think he knows that? lol

Hey, congrats! That's cool. I say approach him like any other spirit. He probably does know you're a future life I'm guessing.

By the way was this the basic past life binding or the specifically nonhuman one?

That's an interesting binding and I would be puzzled too not knowing exactly how to connect with it. Personally I would not consider that as as separate spirit than my current self, only as an integral part of it, a missing piece of the puzzle let's say, that can give me additonal info on what I am as a whole. Myself as a "friend" of myself if that makes sense?

If I may ask, that description you received was it the simple reading or the enhanced one?

just the simple reading... I have not done any enhanced readings yet because I had seen in some reviews and in comments in the forums that the enhanced readings are not worth it from some people. Have you received enhanced readings? What are your opinions on it?

No I have never purchased the enhanced one. I'd like to buy for one of my sprits I have difficulties connecting with.

I think I would use the binding to connect with the spirit of my past life rather like I would with a new spirit companion. I have the Doppelganger binding, which has the same sort of it's-part-of-me-but-it's-not-fully-Me kind of thing about it.

I've often had the sense that my past lives (and future ones too maybe) are close by. I even got a reading recently from Vipera that mentioned one seems to be watching me at this point in my life. So I think it is a useful binding to have. Just as the Doppelganger is said to be able to give us insights into ourselves that we wouldn't normally have, perhaps a past life binding can guide or help us too.

In the CH way of looking at these things, it's our spirit that reincarnates. Our soul is with us for this lifetime only and goes somewhere divine afterwards. Our body returns to the Earth / the elements. Our spirit is the totality of our energy field, which remembers all past lives. We already have all that info in our spirit/energy field. But a binding seems to be a very useful way to connect.

One thing that has changed my former preconceptions is realising that we may have been both WA and DA beings at various times in our existence - well our spirit's existence. (At least I think I have that right.)
