Hello and long time no see I've been steadily on my path for a while now and I know when something is trying to reach me I constantly have a feeling of something reaching out through what feels like a closed door and recently the subject of gates and portals keeps showing up in my life. So I guess I have a few questions since I don't seem to have luck finding useful information.

1: what is a gate
2: how do you find one?
3: can you make gates?
4: what are access codes?

These are just some of my questions but any information would be useful. Thank you for your time.

There's a 5 page section in CH's Advanced Spirit Keeping book on portals & gateways. I won't copy & paste here due to respect for copyright but answers to the OP's main questions can be found there. Portals tend to be temporary, whereas gateways tend to be more permanent. There's more to it than that, though.

Codewords relate to a CH listing re gateway codes to become responsible for a particular gateway.. You can ask CH support about that.

There also this other CH book, called The Magick of Portals.Deals with portals only.

Becareful. Get protection. I'd say even get a spirit or le that has portal expertise. To open random portals super dangerous in my opinion.

I agree with @madgar29 especially gates which are more open. Some places are dangerous if you are using them for travel.

Yes, safety is an important issue with such things.

The CH books I mentioned do explain protection issues - as we might expect - as well as giving some safe places to visit, via protected invocations.

Only if you feel a resonate with the pre. Ch has many they will custom conjure. I have a few that are good with portals even Portal guards. The worse case scenario horror stories is getting lost in portals or worm holes. Not trying to scare you.

This being wants u to open the door. For them. I would question their intent in this case..... door.portal. think of it has the same. A spirit asking to come in once that threshold is passed it could be problems. But if u feel this is a good spirit or being just tell them they have permission. I'd still get protection.

You may want to even ask ch on the Portal u want. Ch offers many portals and protected channels you can use and explore.

If I can find the spell ch has spells where u can close all portals in your house or open the ones u want on command. This would be the best tool for you.... the power to control it as well as opening

I asked old Chinese master geezer about portals, he said that if you are real man you stick carrot into Portal and do the mystic magnetic movements to close portals. But maybe the specifics would belong to the 18+ section.
I then asked that scantily clad heavy breasted flying sky woman about portals, thats what she said:

1: A connection between two spaces
