I think I had a dream the other night about my kitsune "H".
In the dream I was in a really beautiful forest. I was walking around enjoying the scenery.
I then saw something in the distance.
When I approached it, it turned out to be a handsome dark haired Asian man wearing a very pretty white Kimono looking garment.
He smiled at me, then I woke up.
I'm certain it was my kitsune because the man had 8 white fox tails.

that was the first time one of my spirits came to me in a dream.
and it's really true that kitsunes don't like cotton..
The day his vessel arrived I unintentionally put it in a little box that was lined with cotton.
When I took the vessel out, I suddenly had a huge sneezing fit and a minute later I was fine.
When I realized my mistake I apologized to him.

I am glad that you let me know that they don't like cotton. When I get them a charging box, it will not have cotton in it.

yeah in the encyclopedia from CH it is noted that kitsune will become subdued from cotton - in bunches cotton may do this i have noticed.

Hopefully one day my other spirits will come to me in dreams too.
I've made sure not to accidently place his vessel on cotton since then. He made it clear he didn't like it.

Wow! I didnt know this was a thing. I googled kitsune/bakkyo-sha dream and this came up.
I used to live in Okinawa Japan when I was very young. And used to dream about fallowing a bakkyo-sha or kitsune in a forest and wake up and tell my mom. This agin was when i was very young 1-5years old.( military brat.) Many years have past and im now 30. Living in the US seance the age of 6. I have not had any dreams seance then and completely forgot about the dream. Now the past year i have been dreaming about a kitsune(witch i had no clue what that was till i started looking them up affter the dream.) But now im the white fox sometimes in the dream carrying a lantern in the dark woods leading someone els through a dark path. Other times im fallowing the white fox, Some times in the dream i look at my ghost white fox reflection in a body of water. With a feeling of pride and worth when its this part of the dream. I never see faces or what spirit is behind me that im leading but i can feel them in the dream. Other times im sitting on steps in frount of what i think is a shrine in the dream sith a water well at the top of the steps on the left. With red rope tied to it.
*im new to all this and im not sure what im looking to get from this but i would love to learn more and know what others think about this? To the poster of this thank you. Im glad i found this forum when i googled. Thank you for any help or in-site.
