Fairy Hound

Post by GraceLostGirl »

Hello Everyone,

Recently I received my Fairy Hound (R). I love him and he has such good energy. I was wondering what other's experiences are with Fairy Hounds? Also if anyone has any information they would like to share about them. Basically I'd like to start a Fairy Hound discussion. :8)

I actually haven't heard about Fairy Hounds before! Is there an encyclopedia on CH about them by chance? (I shall check out later)
Interested to see this conversation if others join. :)

The closest thing the encyclopedia has to them is the Cwn Annwn (other names for them elsewhere are Coin-Sith, Cù-sìth, Cú sídhe, Hounds of Annwn) but the Fairy hound I'm working with seems to be a subset within that larger grouping that specifically works more with the protection of fairies. The seller I got him from used the term Fairy hound and it seems like a good term to refer to this group of magical hounds as they have so many names.

I'm interested to see where this conversation goes too. I stared it because I didn't see much talk about these wonderful Hounds.

I know Fairies and Elves are not the same but I just bought a mated pair of Elven Hounds named "Cooshie".
It said that they are protectors and healers and can combine powers with all kinds of elves for better results.
I have a Golden High Elf so I hope they will get along !
