I have been so neglectful to mine. I keep forgetting. I feel bad about tha. so I understand that I haven't felt anything from it what so ever.

Awww... it makes me sad to know that your hippy is getting neglected I tend to spoil my spirits with little gifts and whatever else feels right... I have a hippy coming in the mail and I can't wait to meet him, as I'm partial to gryphons and as a part-gryphon creature, he sounds absolutely amazing.

I love mine so much I have ordered and on its way another. My first one is the buddy to my gryphon. They are inseparable. It is very cute.

I know. I'm so new to this and not sure what to do. I took it with me for a walk or two in the summer. Tried to offer it some pear. Feel lost.

You might try oatmeal or sugar. Prickly pear is the foliage assoc. for the hippogryph. Anything a horse would eat would most likly work. Say also carrots.

My instinct says, put pietersite (his stone) in his charging box... mine is in a charging box with gryphons.

Oh what a great treat Terror. It is ok that he is in with the gryphon. I have a lot of my spirits in together. They do not mind at all.

I used pear because it said so in the card I got with him. What else can I do? Take him with me out? Talk to him I have some but not enough.

Angel anything you do with him he will love. They just want to spend time with us no matter what we are doing. You can invite him to watch tv with you. I do this all the time with my spirits. I just recently got a boy one. So am still bonding with him. You must be referring to the spirit card that ch sends out sometimes with the spirits. It has general assoc. for them. For more personal assoc. those are in the ch encyclopedia. Those cards are great when you have a large spirit family like I do I have found. lol I was used to my female hippy. The boy seems more laid back and quiet thus far. But we are also still working on it. Do not give up. Just keep talking to him and include him as much as you can in your daily life.

Hippos is the greek word for horse. That is why a lot of the horse-like "dinosaurs" and early mammals have some form of that root in them. Hope that makes it make a little more sense :p
