Huffs picture of an unusual creature, with the name cryptid incited curiosity in me. I searched to find more information on them, and this is what I found on wiki and other sites.

Interesting animals on the webpage, including some of them offered here at CH. What are your thoughts and opinions on this?

I've definitely heard of the Jersey Devil (the cryptid after which the NJ Devils hockey team is named). I don't know of anyone who states that they've seen it personally, not even in the extended sense of "My neighbor's brother's dog walker goes to a store where the manager saw one in the parking lot". But yes, I've definitely heard of it.

What is surprising is that some of the DA creatures and BA creatures that are mentioned in the Encyclopedia are on the lists of creatures. For instance, the beast of bodmin and merfolk are listed. Also listed, are kracken hellhounds, angels and agogwe. This is what surprises me is that most of these are unconfirmed.
