Question on brownies

I just ordered two SRA brownies and they just arrived today! I'm quite impressed with them already. I can see a difference already. I had friends over for dinner the other night. After dinner, my friend suggested we all unpack the rest of my boxes ( I just recently moved) in order to get the living room clean. Not something that would normally be offered. Also, I had a dream in which my phone rang and the caller id said brownies. I was thinking they would be more shy. How cool that they're not!

Anyways, here's my question. I've read that the only offering they'll accept is a saucer of milk left out. Does that mean I should just keep their vessel near it and not place their vessels in the milk? Right now, I'm just leaving their vessels near the milk.

Right, just place their vessels near the milk, not in it. The next morning you can pour the milk down the drain as they have already absorbed all the 'essence' from it.

Thanks for the tip Alex! Funny how so many little questions pop up.

wow, this is so cool! I got a brownie SRA also, but I haven't spent any time with it. All of my orders came at once and I have so many new spirits to connect with. What are you doing to connect with your Brownie?

I have brownies, I think it is them that pinch my keys, so be careful.
Also never thank them for anything, or they go, never to be seen
again, awkward little people or what!

NB - do not leave the milk where your kitty (or dog or ratty) can get at it! :D
That's folklore, not personal experience.

What do Brownies actually do?? Anyone have any expierences? And do they communicate with you like other spirits or do they just do thier own thing?

If you have a bunch of the they can really make alot of shoes! :P

And I wonder if they are more likely to run away as to turn into a Boggart.

I've been wanting one (or two ;) ) to help with my chores around here, but I just know I will say "Thanks" and make them mad. LoL Gotta find that balance before I buy.

It is very difficult not to use the 't' word. So far, I still feel both. I haven't scared them away yet. I'm a little unsure as to how to interact with them. I've been keeping them with me in the house, talking to them when I get the chance. They made a big splash when they first arrived. They seem to have quited down now. That seems to happen with a lot of my spirits. Lots of contact at first, then it slows down.

Hi
What I have found is that I get a lot more ideas for tidying up.
No one else is doing it, only me, but I have a place for everything
and everything in its place. Also I read somewhere that if you have
piles of things about, i.e. books, they are more likely to fall down.
But not to worry it is only the brownies trying to organise things!
