What the heck is a Yeck?

I got 2 of my orders in today, and when I saw that my Surprise Me Spirit was a Yeck, I said, "Huh?". I had never heard of this spirit, so immediately did a search of the encyclopedia. Here is what I found: http://encyclopedia.creepyhollows.com/a ... _yeck.html.
I'm actually rather excited about having him join my family. He sounds like a highly intriguing little furball. Does anyone else have one? I'd be interested in hearing about your experiences.

One interesting thing so far.... His vessel is a red jasper stone, and I've been holding it in my hand for a bit. I felt it getting warm, and when I looked at my hand, it was red. Hot water and soap did nothing to remove the red... so either the jasper is "leaking" part of its red hue, or I'm having one Yeck of a bonding session.
