Hope everyone is ok. Just need someone’s opinion. I can’t decide between a volkh or a south watcher. They seem to be similar. If someone can help me.

I have both. To me they are not identical in terms of protection ability.

Volkhs are *very* good all round protectors. If I was to get only one protector spirit it would be a Volkh.

I think maybe what the CH Encyclopaedia means is that, like a Volkh or Duojna (I also have a Duojna), Watchers are kind of not 'social'...although the entry says they can and do develop a personal relationship, ie become like a friend.

The CH Encyclopaedia says if we were to choose only one Watcher, the West one is recommended. I have all 4. Together their individual abilities provide a rounded cover in terms of magical protection and each one can have a paired team of Lares protectors to instruct.
