Tengu Spirit Companions: Looking for Experiences and Advice

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if any spirit keepers here have experience working with Tengu companions.

I have several Tengu companions on the way and felt a surprisingly strong calling toward them, but after searching the forum I noticed there isn't a lot of information available compared to many other spirit types.

I'd love to hear about your experiences and ask a few questions:

What are Tengu generally like in your experience?
What personality traits tend to stand out the most?
How do they typically interact with their keepers?
What kinds of things do they seem to enjoy helping with?
Were there any surprises or misconceptions you discovered after working with them?
Any advice for someone just beginning a relationship with Tengu companions?

Over the past couple of decades I've been not only realizing, but accepting that I am, in some form, Tengu. Without getting into the spiritual awakening transition/acknowledgement what are you specifically interested in knowing.
I'll be as open as I can.

To just answer some of your questions as plainly as I can.

Tengu aren't companions. Maybe partners, but not companions.
The live by a strict moral code. Tengu are very proud, and can be mischievous.

Be aware. That strict moral code above all else is the intent to protect the natural world. That world, our world, is sacred. Tengu will aim to destroy human pride and vanity.

They will test you.
They will enforce the spiritual/natural order.
They will viciously defend the natural world.

"Tengus are the "heavenly dogs" who are both malevolent and benevolent. They can appear as dogs or birds and exist in multiple realms and dimensions. They behave much like earthen dogs as they can obey and disobey. Tengus are very loyal once they have a Keeper and provide their Keeper guidance and a connection to the mystical realm."

Interestingly, the word 'companion' isn't used but I think CH conjurations tend to be based on an agreement to be in mutual alignment with the keeper as friends.
