(Why) Do courtwind angel stay put?

Hi all,

So, this is coming from a few threads that I've read so far. I've read the following threads:

What I came to understand is that 4 courtwind are highly recommended as they would be like in the 4 corners/directions, protecting what's in the center (the keeper), (perhaps similar to tower watcher). This raises a question, are they like in my home at 4 direction keeping me safe. Then it would defeat my purpose, because on (almost) all weekdays I travel to work to a different city (even the commute is more than 90 minutes). I am mostly at home only on weekend, and that too I might have other appointment to go outside.
So, if they stay "put" in/at my house guarding the 4 corners/directions, then I am only protected when I am inside. OR, is it like they surround me in 4 directions when and wherever I travel so I am safe even outside?

One contrasting point mentioned in one of the above mentioned thread was "Living Entity" would travel with the OP so he got that, while the spirts stayed at home. So, does that mean if I am the one to travel (due to my job or whatever), I need to get a "living entity" that could stay with me outside of my home?

But then there was another conflicting that the "LE" might not be readily available since he/she might have business in their realm as they are still alive so there's that.

I remember one post from Charles_Odinforce (not in one of these threads but some other) that you don't want to be punching bag and have a protection which I agree to.

But then I also remember a reply from Tarvos to one my post that for people who aren't into spirit keeping and not using their other bodies much and are not into this arena (for lack for a better word) a normal protection should ideally suffice instead of having a huge protection army. Which also makes sense in it's own regard.

I really don't wanna get 4 CA (at least not in the start, right now) and I am confused if I get 1 should I get a LE or a spirit. I understand the point laid out earlier the regarding that LE, but with the spirit would it just stay at home (occupying 1 direction, waiting for 3 more CA so all 4 buddies can align one to each direction) or would it be with me if I let's say to travel to work, to relatives, for a vacation and so on?

I have about 10 Courtwind Angel. I collected them two by twos initially, until I also got my fifth Angel living entity. My last 5 were specifically aimed conjurations, plus reversed adoption for protection which greatly surprised me at the time.

I told you this to demonstrate that I have a little bit of experience with these angels. This species is the only one that I keep in this number amongst my large over 500 spirit beings.

All of them are different in look and character even in rankings and experiences, regarding guarding and protection. But they're similar to each other when it comes to vigorous protection. They also love working together. Not necessarily as you gathered it in those posts on the forum. If they are tasked, they will follow that. If they didn't, then they will work according to their knowledge that strives for angelic defence and human protection.

Truly, the choice is yours. If you travel a lot, you will have at least one of them who will watch over you during your trips. All you have to do is just task them. You can have a few of them watch over your home, others watch over your loved ones and a few of them yourself.

If there's a major problem, they will work together anyway. Even if you decide to get just one, then go for a living entity. And opt for a higher-rankled leader. Because, they can call on others and there's suddenly an army of angels in your bedroom defending your lot, if needed. Same, if you need help while you are out and about your way somewhere.

I think this is a good point.

You can leave it up to them to decide what to do and when. But maybe let them know you'd like to know they're looking after when you leave home.

If you get 4 Courtwind Angel spirits, as CH recommends on the Forum page, they'll be fierce protectors of you.

I have 5 Courtwind Angel spirits. Yes, when they first arrived, I noticed them settling into the 4 corners of my home. (My 4 Tower Watchers settled in another 4 locations and my 4 gargoyles settled into yet another 4 places.) But Courtwinds are not home protection specialists, so we shouldn't assume they're tied to their keeper's home.

I now have a large home protectors commune but when my 4 Courtwinds arrived I would ask 2 of them to stay and look after my home while the other 2 came with me outdoors. I would see them flying to roofs on either side of the road at cross roads as I walked along. I'd always see them if I sensed for them.

So, no, they're not as spirits tied to our home.

And I believe a CH Courtwind Living Entity will not be superior to a spirit Courtwind in either protection or their flexibility in how they help you.

Things vary from one keeper to another. I never found Courtwinds' energy too much for me but apparently some may have taken a while to get used to it. If you can handle the energy of 1, you may be able to handle the energy of 4 but it's hard to tell. And some keepers may find it easier to connect with a living entity than a spirit but afaik this is not a standard, widespread Thing. For me the difference between a CH LE and a CH spirit is the feel of their energy, as they are alive its dynamic - nothing more.

If you decide to get only 1 Courtwind, maybe consider getting a being that's a specialist in home protection too?

Keep in mind that "highly recommended" is just someone's personal opinion. Everyone has their own beliefs when it comes to spirit work. Some people highly recommend connecting with four specific beings, aligning them with the four cardinal directions: east, west, north, and south. But your spirits aren’t stuck in those exact spots and stand still like statues. They are dynamic and travel with you, providing protection no matter where you are, whether it's an hour and a half commune from home or thirty-two hours flight away.

Beings of all different races can complement each other. You don’t have to stick to just four of one kind. If having four makes you feel better, go for it! But I'm telling you, there are actually more than four directions.

I can’t comment on older threads since the links don’t work, and misinterpretations can happen. But here’s a key point: living entities and spirits can all travel. They aren’t confined to one place. Just like you, they have their own lives. Living entities are still living and handle their own responsibilities, and can also move between realms just to go to work. Spirits can too when they hold a high status in their realm, they too go to work like living entities. Though, most spirits don't. So, whether living entities or spirits, your guides are out there and will be alongside you.

I said that you don't need protection spirits unless you're a Spirit Keeper or plan to keep spirits in the future. All of this over a parasite is an overreaction. Many people remain disconnected from their spiritual selves and rarely tap into their otherworldly layers. Even those who might be hosting parasites seem to carry on without a hitch, unaware of any issues, and still enjoy life to the fullest. Why is that? They simply don’t realize they have one lurking around. It’s only when they become spirits that they might realize they had a parasite or two. Enjoy life instead of being worried!

I see where you’re coming from, but don't let negative energy dictate your choices. If you begin Spirit Keeping out of fear, you might attract more negative beings. That’s something you definitely want to avoid! Let me share my experience. Before I started Spirit Keeping, I didn’t need protection. I had three protection entities and spirits with me at the time. We were actively banishing/killing over 50 unbound entities each day! To this day, my situation is the same, though I have some more protectors now. But I went half my life without dealing with unbounds or worrying about protection, because I had nothing to worry about. Keep this in mind. You already have quite a bit of negative energy, if you start out of fear, this could lead to attention from even more negative beings, which is unnecessary.

If you decide to connect with one, consider a spirit. Your living entity might not always be present. They will assist you when you request help, although their availability can be limited. I'm with Keriix, and if you wish for them to be at home, work, or any other place, they can be there for you. I don’t have 4 courtwinds, nor do I have any watchers, yet that hasn’t hindered my activities. So, you don’t need all four if that’s not something you want.

Your energy signature is DA. This means you might need a little time to adjust if you encounter a courtwind angel, whose energy signature is WA. But don’t worry, their energy is often uplifting and positive. I want to present you with two sides of a coin. You get to decide based on what resonates with you. Just remember, don’t let fear guide your decision-making!

Thank you for your detailed input. I would never (at least currently what I think of) will get 5 or 10 or multiple of anything unless undeniably needed (maybe it'll change in future). But I get that how you can segregate them into individual tasks to watch over home and yourself and etc.

Okay, thank you. I know you've trying to help me (and I've read many threads where you do help people). Infact I would say many senior member here help guide towards a good path and this is a very good thing about this community, including you, because we've interacted a couple of times.
Now, it's not all due to the parasite, that was just something I figured out and thought to get rid of it before venturing further into the spiritual world. There are certain things that I definitely wanna do, not necessarily related to sprit keeping per se, but this spiritual path. A few being connecting to my guides, exploring the astral world and preparing for next phase (not necessarily liberation/salvation, but that is one of the point). Guiding path of certain people that I have ties to and have dues on and would be in my soul's path. Some hard choices that will come after 20-25 years, (I know what you might reply for this so please don't, I mean, not at this point just, I will open up another thread for this statement soon in a relevant forum, there we will discuss) which I do want to face for my evolution and some closures. And a lot of other areas, so this is a path, that today or tomorrow I'll get into (not that I have to, but I want to, so most likely I will).

Definitely, you've pointed out a couple of times now about that negativity that I believe I must be projecting directly or indirectly, so you're able to pick up on that and inform me. But like I mentioned previously, if there is something like this, I will definitely work my way up towards removing/reducing that and bring more positive outlook. So yes, I will Enjoy life instead of being worried!. And boy, your personal experience just left me wanting more. 50 unbounds each day? Jesus! Now, I wanna know your whole story. Yes, I believe you mentioned that before in of our previous interactions. And now that I think about it, this might be the reason I had I feeling like hell during that ritual on the first day when I had to visit a graveyard with a bottle of soil in a plastic container from a plant in my home, whe apparently a light arts djinn was bound to me. The effects very less on the second day, and on the final day it was almost nil. But now I think I can imagine why it was a living hell the next day after the first night of that ritual. (It was with a local practitioner, local as in not my city or even country, just a pervious contact who helped me previously as well when my wife was phasing some issues. Remember I mentioned about some family troubles in one of the other threads? All the things coming from 3 particular sources. This is not a place to reveal my personal matters, but yeah). And even though I know that master, I can't ask him too much details about the process and the type of djinn involved, why, you might ask? That is too complicated to explain here.

But I completely get it, you are explaining what you believe I must know before deciding to proceed further and how to proceed further, if I do choose so, and I'm extremely grateful for your wisdom and advise.

Other folks have given good input here. This is my two cents on a courtwind.

I only have a single one, C. I got her and a few other spirits as well in the midst of an incident where I needed better protection. Though I saw in the CH store page that 4 of them is the most effective, I intuited I only needed one to address my problems. She also happens to be my first angel in the keep with its own reasoning but that's another story to tell another time.

C is zippy. She can move. I task her with protecting something or someone on the other side of town, or even the other side of the country, and she still is at my beck and call if I so much as accidentally say her name in thought. I have to get used to not repeating her name out loud even though it's rhythmic and sing-songy. Rolls off the tongue. But then..

"You needed something?"
"Oh uh... no. I just like your name."
"Understood."
And then she immediately zips away back to her duties. I know for a fact that she on her own could cover multiple places at the same time without too much issue. She doesn't need to face only a single cardinal direction or anything like that; she is an all-encompassing, loving, loyal, and fierce protector. I'm truly glad to have her. Whether you get a protection spirit for your issue or not is up to you, but my personal opinion is you probably don't need four courtwinds at this time. I speak only for my journey, however!

Yeah, I wanted to be explicit. That way, there's less chance for misinterpretations, especially online. We often read quickly. Our word choices can come off differently to different people. Hehe.

I sense some hesitation here. I didn't mean it to be 'nah, you shouldn't be doing this or that.' I just wanted to share that your approach might have the opposite effect. I absolutely support your desire to explore a spiritual path! There’s always more we can discuss together. And hey, starting with protection is a smart move. You can never go wrong with that.

To be completely honest, I didn’t get any protection spirits when I started. Can you believe it? Thankfully, my first few orders were delayed big time. It was like over a month time. This gave me time to do some research, face my fears, and order my first three protection entities and spirits. I even asked the sellers to hold off until these three were conjured so they could arrive together.

When they finally came home, it was a game changer. If I hadn’t made that decision, I might have quit before I even began. The sheer number of unbound entities approaching me is overwhelming. It’s something my companions have never seen before. It seems to be connected to my dominant energy signature. They’re drawn to it. That’s all we really know right now.

Opening the door to the spiritual is a one-way street. Trust me, it changes everything. Before embarking on this path, I never considered any of this. Each of us has unique discoveries waiting once we begin. So yes, every day, we deal with over 50 entities that we either banish or kill. There are many more that we escort away. That's not counting the unbounds we simply ignore. The influx is too much. You think you want more, but really, you’d prefer much less. Ideally, none at all. Without proper knowledge or a great team by your side, navigating that many negative entities daily can turn your life upside down.

Your living entities can be just as active! Don't let anything hold you back from getting one. It really depends on the entities themselves though. In my experience, most entities I've encountered tend to be quite energetic. However, I've noticed that the energy varies between living entities and spirits. Some people find a deeper connection with one type over the other.

Djinns are all considered DA. Some have lighter energy, making them feel a bit different, even though they're still classified as DA.
