I was browsing online today and came across this. I have seen it before but completely forgot about it till today. Anyway, it's by CH, and it has all the different Djinn and their powers/characteristics:

The one thing I'm a little... not confused on... I think I know how it works... but the servant djinn? Anyone have experience with them?

Thank you Phoenix, for this information. I have been wanting to start a thread about the different Djinn and classes but wasn't exactly sure what to ask. I have several different kinds and it can get a bit confusing.

This will take me a while to read through but from glancing at it....it may very well answer my questions. Funny how I missed this.

Yah, they need more articles like that, to talk about the pluses and minuses of the entities. I noticed, some of them have been watered down. There is probably only one other practitioner I know who lays it out in her listing, like she'll never conjure a psi vamp because it WILL feed on you, if there is nothing to feed on. I was surprise she would say that.

I've rarely heard of a Psy feeding at home. In fact a Sanguine feeds only off of the energy consumed by its Keeper from the digestion of blood meat (beef). Outside of that a Sanguine can pull energy from other people in a different way but it is still sustaining (example: like Vampires feeding off livestock instead of humans).

Vampires have clan ideology. They come into your home and become part of your "clan". They are by nature loyal creatures who create tight-knit bonds with others they accept or are accepted into therefore feeding at home would be like bleeding on of their own clan. That would only happen if you were a complete shut-in who never left your home and another human being didn't come within hundreds of miles of you ever. Of course if you were like that odds are you wouldn't have a Psy Vampire to begin with. Psy Vampires feed off multiple sources at the same time, outside of the home and from strangers who surround you. They aren't likely to bleed one person dry of energy but rather collect from multiple sources at once so no one is the wiser.

That article is from the 2nd version of this website 100000 million years ago. LOL That is why it is in a funny format. Actually there was a better article that was more of a chart that had different Djinn races with the level of light or dark. Hmmm.... I know it was on old forum I wonder if it made it over here, will look.
