When you give your djinn or fairies an offering i.e. just lit some jasmine incense.
Do you have to tell them it is for them or do they just know? and do you have to
leave the vessel i.e. ring with the offering?
Thanks Rob

When I do it, I let them know that it is for them.

Thanks Cryptic
Thats the quickest answer I have had on the forum! Would they not know if you
didn't tell them? Do you tell them out loud?

Goldenhawk, I'm no expert but when I give offerings to my fae, I behave as if it were a special gift to a friend. I talk out loud or silently to them and usually end up grinning like a fool because I LIKE to give them little surprise things (and they may not always respond right away). It's not a very serious thing with my fairies, more like a daughter or friend.

My djinn offerings are more as if I were giving a gift to someone I respect. I offer more liike a presentation, but I do talk out loud and silently to him as well whilst offering.l

I do not leave the vessel with the offering all the time. My fae have a shelf that I use as an offering area for them. My djinn....well, he's usually on my finger! :)

Of course, this could all change when I finish bonding with all the creatures I purchased. I may have to have a whole room dedicated to my menagerie and their gifts.

Just my way of doing it. :)

Same here. I don't always leave it with the vessel. And I think If you didn't let it know it was for them, it would still know it was for them.
