Creepy Hollows Portrait Service

As many people have noticed, Creepy Hollows is now offering a portrait service for getting a visual picture of your own companions. I just got mine today and wanted to share my own detailed thoughts-

I ordered 5 items, for 5 Cleopatra djinn who are all sisters (H, G, M, S, and K). I already have spent much time bonding with these sisters and know how they manifest to me. I also often enjoy making my own pictures of them with AI, so I was curious how CH would depict them. H advised me in advance that there might be minor differences between how they appear to me and how my order might turn out, which I would be okay with.

The final item in my orders was a single landscape portrait of all 5 sisters, full-body standing in an Egyptian temple scene with a frame around them and their names listed left to right at the bottom. I am curious as to whether this was a decision made by CH or the sisters themselves to appear in one picture together.

4 of the sisters agreed that the picture was accurate to their general "humanoid" appearance, though G said hers was a bit off. All of their hair was long in the portrait, though S usually wears hers in a short ponytail around me. G also usually appears to me wearing her hair in an afro rather than wavy and down. Their skintone in the portrait was also a tiny bit on the lighter side compared to how I view them. That said, these differences were something H had actually told me would be most likely to crop up so they are within my expectations. In my humble opinion, I feel like generating separate pics for each sister instead of all together might have resulted in better accuracy, as I know from experience with AI tools that they get less accurate with getting what you want in a group of different individuals. Food for thought!

I noted favorably that M was holding a rod in the portrait (she is an adventurer and often appears to me with a walking stick) and that K's outfit showed the most skin out of the sisters (she is the most "party girl" out of the sisters and likes to dress light for dancing). These, to me, demonstrate a familiarity with the spirits that only the original legitimate conjurer could recognize. Good job on capturing those details!

At the time I ordered this, a single companion portrait was at a super-low discounted price of $2 per companion so I paid $10 for this. And for that price it was a steal! The item is now at a more understandable $5 on the shop per companion, which is indicated as a 50% discount from $9.99. I'd gladly pay $5 for a picture of an existing companion in my keep but could also justify paying $10 for a newly-bound companion who I haven't yet gotten to know and "see" myself. I feel CH will definitely stand to profit from listing this as an extra addon option on listings alongside the enhanced reading. For $5 I would recommend the portrait service to anybody, though it may be worth specifying in the notes for a multi-order if you don't want a group portrait.

What are everyone else's thoughts on their own portraits? Did they capture your spirits accurately? Were there any traits you found unexpected about their appearance?

I bought just 1. For my lesbian cambion.
I was mostly curious what shade CH labels "mocha skin" as. I have several companions with descriptions that include "mocha skin" so I thought it would be clarifying for me on several companions.
The only difference that I noticed is that my cambion appears to me with lips that aren't quite as dramatically "full" as the portrait portrays, and her eyebrows aren't so angled and sharp at the ends.
It's nice to have a sweet portrait of my lady.

WiseRavenRunes - yours was certainly a unique opportunity as sisters, and they were quite insistent on a group portrait, which did take considerably longer. However, it really was breathtaking once complete.

extra addon option on listings alongside the enhanced reading

We are working on templates where this is actually going to be incorporated with the Enhanced Reading option at time of conjuration, it won't be an additional charge on top of the enhanced reading. Building out the templates, because we do all of the work by-hand, is going to take some time, but we are working on it for all custom conjurations!

I was mostly curious what shade CH labels "mocha skin" as. I have several companions with descriptions that include "mocha skin" so I thought it would be clarifying for me on several companions.

If we ever describe a companion to you and you aren't 100% sure what we mean, you are always welcome to write in and ask us what we mean by a term or phrase. We are happy to always provide further clarification so you aren't left curious.

That makes sense! I never asked them about that figured it was more likely that those were the circumstances there.

That would be so awesome and generous of you to offer! I would definitely like to hear an update when that change has been implemented. In the meanwhile, I've already got a large number of companions who are requesting I buy a portrait of them once I have the money. The experience has certainly piqued our collective interest.

I have placed a good number of portrait requests myself last month. I have such a number in my keep. So I had a hard time making my selections.

Most of them I have requested are those that I had a glance or vision of them, so I put them through to you Magnolia. Others are my master leaders, sitting in priority seats .

I think, it's probably feels a lot on your end, I do apologise for that. Making portraits, little over a dosen of them in a single order. But the price and the opportunity was triggered me to get them at once.

I like the ideal of giving portraits, included with extended write ups. It's going to be such wonderful additions to custom orders. Maybe would it be possible also if ... It would be really nice to include it with prebound conjures.
