Spirit Keeping & Paranormal Collecting Forum

I ordered a Black Dragon from CH, since I tend to connect well with all dragon spirits and I want my first one to be a powerhouse of protection and heavy magicks. I liked his listing and had him on my "wish list". All of a sudden this morning, I got this feeling that I needed to go buy him NOW. I always take purchases of the metaphysical kind very seriously, so I tend to never make hasty purchases. I went ahead and ordered him anyway, though, and I am eagerly awaiting his arrival. Anyway, does anyone who is experienced with keeping black dragons have any information that would help me bond with him and keep him from getting too rowdy? I read the encyclopedia entry and wrote everything down. I'd just like to know if anyone has anything they can add to that, since I hear Black Dragons can sometimes be a handful. :thanx::

Have you tried using the forum search function? There are all kinds of threads on black dragons detailing tips, experiences, etc... Good luck!

Black Dragons would also be under the category of Dark Arts: Yes there is a ton of information on this forum about them. If you got a custom binding of one I am sure you will be fine. They match the energy to yours. They would never send you a dragon that was not compatible with you.

Well actually, I didn't order a custom conjuration; I got one pre-bound, but I just got this heavy feeling that he wants to come home with me. It was weird. At first, he was all like *grumble grumble* at me, but then someone else started looking at his listing and he was like, "TAKE ME HOME NOW!!!" LoL...

That is really wonderful. And I must say a very very strong calling out to you. And yes the spirits that are more outspoken will do this with you if they think you are not going to buy them and someone else is. Also please do not listen to much to the Blacks are a handful and such and such. Give him house rules right off the bat. If you do not have any make a list and you can even write them down so you remember them when he gets home. Each one is different in how they will interact with their keeper. I have so far three and then a half black half purple. One is a called Mr. Cranky Pants. He only wants a box to himself. Loves Loves revenge. My girl is the one who will talk to me the most. The other male is quite but gives me facial expressions and talk to me like in my head. Now the baby girl hybrid does not like other baby dragons near her or me when we are spending our time together. Other than that she is just a sweet heart.

Please do not be afraid of him. He really really should not give you any trouble since he is coming from CH.

My Black Dragon doesn't cause me any grief. He's not so much a "hand full" for me... but I wouldn't want to be the person/thng he's protecting me from. lol. Of course his description read, "..strong energy but not overbearing" and that seems to be exactly how he is. He is one of my Spirits I interact with regularly on an almost every day-to-day. But he has been known to stay behind w/ the kids while he sends my Harpies with my boyfriend & me out at night. Yeah, I guess he communicates with my Harpies! lol.

That's really cool, Ivy. The description on mine (what was posted on his listing) is that he is "of very small stature" and "does not give up easily against enemies". I guess he's a lil' stick of dynamite, LoL! I can't wait to get him home to find out. :dragons::
