Something I'm trying to aid in connection

I am making myself information cards from blank tarot/playing cards using the information found in the encyclopedia. I am hand writing them and plan to pull them out to honor each spirit based on connections and preferences on their associated day. I can take them anywhere with me and look at them when I can't play on the computer or phone. I like them already! I am not sure if there is a rule against this (it didn't seem like it since they are for personal use...I hope that's true!)

But I think hand writing out the associations will be a nice way to bond while I'm learning about them.

Just sharing in case someone else likes the idea to do for their family :)

Awesome idea!

Sounds like something I should do. Usually I just pull offerings out of my a-I mean butt. ^^'

The beauty is that it's pretty easy and it really made me think about the links between them. I think I may draw them a couple pictures or paint paintings too. I think that will be fun :)

Drawings on the cards will definitely make them nice!

Maybe once your finished designing them and everything you could laminate them? That would help keep them from getting damaged.

That is a BRILLIANT idea! I may borrow that! I have a small spiral notebook but cards seem sooo much neater and easy! CLEVER!!!

And it has been super convenient so far. I love it! I haven't added pictures or laminated them (which was a great suggestion I missed Zero! Sorry about that!) I keep them in my pocket sometimes and when I want to think about new creative ideas for my friends, I look at the cards to try to come up with things to do for them :) :)

What's that old cliché? "Great minds think alike"?
About a year or so ago, I posted a pic in here somewhere of the 4x6 index cards I designed and printed to do pretty much the same thing. I was putting them in a small photo album.

Image
I've not completed the task yet, as I have also been putting all of my spirit/spell info on excel spreadsheets.
I'm happy to see others doing this. It makes it much easier to learn the associations for each spirit, as well as having a record (as your spirit family grows, it can often times be harder to remember who is in what vessel... especially if the vessels are similar).

I LOVE this idea. I'm gonna have to do this for our guys too (mine and fearlesswolf's).

BTW, you can get a deck of blank "playing cards" on ebay for like $8.

I love this idea! I have many ....maaannny in my family and sometimes I am embarrassed to admit I get a little  baffled. Almost all of the vessels are very easy to identify but some of my spirit stones look almost identical. I started keeping detailed notes on each vessel and I can just transfer from my notebook to cards...they will make things SO less complicated for sure!!
