Which Gender Do You Usually Pick For Spirit?

I have a half-female and half-male ratio, it wasn't intended and I was expecting to get more females but I am happy with it! Seems like I find balance without even trying...

At first I gravitated to males spirits. Now it is 50/50. At this point I don’t really have a preference anymore.

In the beginning, I had no particular care for gender. But now I tend to pick female. Unless they are more task oriented then I tend to pick male. Ever since CH cast the Oh Mr Darcy for me, i have definitely found myself more snobby and drawn to more elite Spirits and for the most part, I want them to be female.

Before this I have sort of noticed that whenever I leave it up to the spirit, it is generally a female that comes forward...
I have requested for a male maybe 6 times out of all 39 in my keep currently. And guess what?
I have 15 male and the rest is all female... lol

In all seriousness though, I choose female because I feel comfortable and safe surrounded by girls, I do feel safe and comfortable with my Black Dragon B., but I feel connected strongly to girls. Honestly dont know what that signifies...

Male for me. It feels better to me and is supporting.
Though I am planning to introduce some females into my keep sometime.

I gravitate towards male spirits, as well as most of my friends are men. I've always kind of been more of a tomboy growing up, so I guess it's just what I'm more comfortable with. I do have one female spirit, though!

It's a surprise sometimes, but really I go for more male spirits.

I generally prefer to spend time with women because I have more fun hanging out with them. It's not really my pick, though, as they are the ones who choose me. In fact, about 90% of my companions are female. Lol. Out of those, only 17 of them were custom conjured and specifically requested to be female, while the rest came from callings, referrals from my companions, and reverse adoptions. If I were to truly choose, I believe they would all be females rather than just the 17 that I requested. Lol. And I currently have 160 companions.

Despite the imbalance in the number of males and females, I still feel the need to spend more time with my male companions. I enjoy being around folks with all genders and some in my Keep don't have a specific gender, but I tend to be more flirtatious in my interactions with females, which is why I personally prefer them. However, I've had some instances where open conjures resulted in male companions, and I'm grateful for that because it brings some balance to my Keep. It may not seem like much, but it makes a difference. For example, in my latest calling, we couldn't initially determine the gender or race, so I sought help from a practitioner and now we know it's a male.

If you have a preference for specific energies from either gender, you can certainly choose companions accordingly. However, there are times when it's best to leave it open, especially when it feels like destiny or a calling.
