Hello!

So I recieved my first vessel last month. I've been using the pendulum for communication, and I was very happy because since day 1 I've been able to speak, but how do I know it is my spirit and not anything else?
When I ask his name he always says it correctly. Today we were talking about another spirit that he says is with me, I asked where is she from and he answered the name of a town that doesn't exist. How do I know it's not some random spirit that is been answering me this whole time?
When I finnish I'm always tired and cold.

I hope someone can help me! thanks :)

You may find answers in these 2 articles. The second one talks about protection for pendulum sessions.

"Tools: If you like a hands-on approach you can work with a pendulum, Tarot cards, Runes, etc in communicating with your spirit. We recommend that if you are going to use tools like this for communication that you use some form of protective measure to keep unbounds from interfering with your spirit communication. You can use protective spells or protective gemstones around your space."
