Why do spirits play songs in my head that I haven't heard for years?

When spirits/entities communicate with me they sometimes use snippets of song lyrics I've heard during my life, to convey what they're saying. Songs which commonly I haven't heard in a long time and long before I brought spirits into my life. Logically it doesn't make sense since the songs have not been heard in our time together.
How does this occur?
Is it just my brains most accurate interpretation of whatever they intended to say?
Do they have a library of all my memories or something similar?

LOL I can't explain the WHY, but my spirits love to put a song in my head sometimes as soon as I wake up in the morning. One of my new succubi is very fond of Monster by Imagine Dragons.

Another of my succubi likes Hurt, the version specifically done by Johnny Cash because it reminds her of her and my shared past life.

Most spirits are capable of accessing us non-linearly just as we are capable of experiencing them the same way. Our presence is dynamic and a song you've heard 'in the past' is just a song you've heard and registered in your spirit. Your presence and all that has impacted you, made you who you are, is not limited to a pocket of time and on a spiritual level this is especially prominent. You're just 'you'. If you consider that spirits can help you connect with past lives, or pull things from your past lives, then you'll see it isn't that abnormal they can bring something forward from what you consider the 'past' in this life. The type of spirit can further factor into this.

You might also consider that if they are bringing up a song from a specific period of your life and it immediately makes you think to that period, there may be a deeper message relating to that period they are wishing to convey.

I also think that they can psychically nudge us and these thoughts arise in synch with what they're trying to communicate to us.

That's sounds great way to communicate with you and even emotionally soothing or invigorating depending on the actual music and songs.
