My orange kitten spirit companion came by to cheer me up today. I did not feel great, but it was sweet knowing that he was checking on me.

I was about to go to bed and I ended up deciding to watch one more reel. It was random but it was titled something like, “I feel sad when I imagine my cat’s life before he met me ” It showed a little orange kitten that looked exactly like him afraid and alone. It was walking through the streets and being ignored by people.

He is a kitten spirit (looks maybe about 5-6? weeks) but I never really thought about his life and what he experienced while alive. I felt like this was his way of showing me what happened to him, but also showing me he was happy to have a home now.

Whilst its sad to imagine a kitten like that and especially a companion, its heartwarming to think that he is happy where he is now! Its also a really nice example of keepers providing something important and beneficial for the spirits outside of just them helping us! Thank you for sharing this moment with us.

One of my exes who I'm on good terms with described a month ago an experience she'd had. She lives out with her family just on the edge of the "country". Wild cats are a common presence in her area. There was a particular family that had been present for a few months and occasionally visited their property, where they'd leave a bit of cat food and water out in the back. She noticed there was a particular kitten who was visibly smaller than the rest, the runt of the litter. The other cats would bully him out of food, and it had probably been the case from the time he was suckling. One day, she saw the cats in a circle gathered around him lying on the ground. He was gone. She and her brother took the kitten's body and buried it in her backyard with a planter of flowers. They even gave him a name (Akatsuki). Stories like this are incredibly common for wild cats; it's why nature puts so many in a litter after all. Most runts pass without ever having a home or being known by humans. But he was known, he was given a name, and he will always have a place to stay. I let her know that in this way she has given the kitten a great blessing, even if his life was short. Your kitten spirit is blessed on an even greater level to have mutual companionship in you.

I know that spirits might find enjoyment in our company, but I also hadn’t considered it in this way before. That I offer him what he was unable to have while alive and that he may have wanted this. He actually came through during a reverse adoption with another being (an alternate earth human living entity.) The conjurer said they both wanted to join me and that they both felt very strongly about me.

He has been coming forward more strongly since I got a physical kitten. I haven’t really had a cat that I connected with closely before (they were family pets/tended to prefer other family members), but with my kitten it was pretty much instant. I feel this opened up my connection to cat spirits more in general.

He does this whenever he wants attention which is often He’ll do it to my sketchbook and try to get my phone out of my hands as well. He’s very sweet but also hyper.

Heheh. It was actually reflecting on this experience my ex had had which convinced me that whenever the day comes that I do have my own land, it will include a small graveyard for any wild animals who happen to die on or near it. I'd like them to have their own designated space and memory of where they intersected with my life, even if it was only fleeting. Ties in to my idea of a "Shelter for the Unbound".

That’s a nice idea! I have a friend who does something similar. Whenever she finds passed birds and other animals on her property she’ll bury them under a large tree in her backyard. She adds a stone or crystal to represent them.

My physical gray kitten is more mischievous than the orange spirit kitty I’m fine with the high energy and goofiness.
