I recently welcomed in a nine tailed kitsune from TheYogaPunk.

I chose to get a custom conjure because I could feel one was poking at me, but that they were a bit more reserved. I left it open other than letting them know in the notes I was certain there was a kitsune calling me.

In vision O. my kitsune appeared to me as a woman in her late 20s-early 30s. Her eyes were framed by heavy black lashes and appeared dark brown at first before changing to a golden honey color as she stepped in the light towards me. Her black hair also appeared to shine golden brown in the light. She had a small smile on her face, as if she was happy to finally show herself to me. She wore a beautiful black kimono with golden cranes embroidered on it. The geta shoes she wore were also black with golden details. She appeared without her tails at first, but then I saw a wriggling mass of nine tails behind her. I asked if it was heavy and she just laughed and called me silly.

Her energy is interesting to me. Despite her appearance I can feel that she is a much older energy. There’s a sense of seriousness to her and I can tell she is very dedicated to her work. As I write this she also sent me an image of her practicing embroidery and another of her playing an instrument. I think she wanted to show it’s not all work for her. The last image she showed me was a sleepy fox sunbathing.

The goddess Amaterasu has called to me in the past and I think O. is here to help me with that connection. I have gotten attunements to the goddess and an infusion, but I haven’t worked in building a more personal connection yet.

I got a totem reverse adoption from The Yoga Punk. A sloth came through This wasn’t really surprising for me. I’m lazy when I can be.

I also welcomed in a demon from each of the elements. I feel they’ll help with elemental balancing and protection.

Other than that a demon maid joined us! I figured my two butler companions would appreciate the help. She has a more serious personality and I saw her dressed more as a traditional Victorian maid. I didn’t mention it, but I was actually looking for one more like this so she’s perfect. She definitely brings a sense of protection and stillness.

Neat bindings! I've rambled quite a bit about my butler from TYP who is an absolute gem and I can only imagine the maids exhibit a similar energy, though yours being more conventionally-minded lends to its own unique lessons. Will be interested in hearing more about your experiences with her.

I’ll definitely be updating about her! So far I can tell she placed a ward around me and around my home. When I tried viewing it I got an image of a large gate surrounded by barbed wire, so she’s definitely serious about protection.

I have a butler companion as well. Two actually! One is from The Yoga Punk and the other is from Fay’s Spiritual Haven. Both have been great!. My butler companion from Fay is very sweet. (From what I know he isn’t a demon.) He has more of a focus on cleansing and “eating” the negative energy around me. My demon butler comes across as mischievous yet dedicated to his work.

Whilst not familiar with kitsunes, she sounds like a great addition to your family and the demon butler/demon maids also sound like wonderful companions! I would be interested too in hearing more about you get on with them! They are additions I would have liked to explore but I am trying to pace myself and connect individually with each companion first, and each new addition seems less like a choice on my behalf lol.

I have seen mention of totem spirits quite alot but how do they differ from regular bindings, is it just the name for an animal spirit binding or something more complex?

From my understanding of animal guides they represent a part of ourselves/our personality, but they may also come forward due to a challenge or lesson we are currently going through. They can also provide certain energies we may need in our lives. My sloth did come with a name and description. However I do have animal guides from other sellers who I was able to name.
