How has your experience with the portals been and do you have any suggestions for someone new to working to them?

Just want to say here anyone is welcome to ask me questions here. Whether that be about spells, spirits, or anything else magical.

I actually mainly got the portals for my companions. I think I talked about how one of my companions mentioned I only had one portal, and that he wanted more places to explore. The sale on the portals was really great for us, and I can tell my companions feel very happy with the selection.

I would recommend focusing on one portal at a time. Try having it near you while you sleep and using a lucid dreaming or astral travel meditation to assist you in connecting to it. Ask your companions to help you with accessing it as well. Sometimes astral travel may be blocked by fear or uncertainty, but having a companion you trust can really help to get past this hurdle.

This is actually really nice to know that my companions can enjoy the portals before needing me to get up to speed so to speak, they really do deserve something nice they can explore as downtime after all their hard work. I will remember to tell them they can use at their leisure!

Some experiences last night. I fell asleep listening to an astral projection guided meditation at about an hour in.

I got a vision of my living entity incubus companion L. (this is the one who I mentioned is a writer and an artist.) He was sitting at a table in what looked like a coffee shop. It looked like he had just finished talking with someone about a deadline, and I had caught the very end of the conversation. He had his head in one of his hands and didn’t bother looking up as I approached. I gave him an encouraging comment and he smiled slightly before getting back to work.

This kind of surprised me because it seemed very similar to a struggle a writer may encounter in our world here. I think it gave me a new view on how living entities may get busy and caught up in their own things (I already knew this, but it was different encountering it in this way.)

That vision then changed to a dream.

In the dream I was looking through someone’s blog about spirit companionship. This person posted a lot of art of their astral form-an androgynous fae with long aqua colored hair. They mostly talked about their experiences with their fae and elven companions, but also one of their human friends who they described as “reckless.” (I’m pretty sure both of these characters were just something my mind made up.)

I don’t remember much in the dream about their personal experiences, but there was a post telling their friend, “I told you so.” This was in response to their friend getting a being they weren’t prepared for, a very dark natured incubus. The friend was frightened to go to sleep, and was asking for advice after they had a sleep paralysis/dream experience where they were pulled under the bed by this being.

I woke up after this and immediately communicated with my companions they better not get any ideas My incubus companions joked around a bit, and teased me about it I’m sure it was just a silly dream, but I think that unlocked a new fear lol.
