The reason I’m posting this in the first place, is because an energy worker on Youtube posted an energetically charged audio, with an energetically charged thumbnail which they claim listening to the audio or even looking at the thumbnail will harm and “cripple” the listeners’ dark arts companions (djinns, demons, etc).

No. They've already died, there is nothing that can do it again. And while there are things that can hamper a spirit or disrupt their energy, you can't cause lasting harm to one

As @Hitthuginn stated, spirits can't die 'again', but living entity companions can.

That seems quite malicious, considering we humans are also dark arts and would be vulnerable to such a thing. To put something like that out there with that kind of intent kinda makes them a black arts practitioner.

Perhaps you've misread, and instead the energies are meant to harm dark beings that may be around you? IE, clearing your personal space? In which case, companions would not be considered for it.

Then again, it sounds like this individual is probably full of BS.

Though, I’ve seen keepers telling stories on how their spirits kill unbounds, or how their immortal god/goddess evaporates thousands of spirits, etc. So if spirits really are immune to long-lasting harm, is there an explanation to how some keepers experience/see such phenomena?

The creator is a light worker of sorts, he created the Youtube video/audio with the assumption that all djinns and demons are evil and parasitic, and said that it is not suited for those in the lhp actively working with said beings.

I didn’t misread anything, “cripple” is actually the exact word he used. Again, I can link you to the video or even just the link to the document of “benefits” of said video, if you want. Though, it also has those “charged images”.

And you really don’t need to share that video link for me to see that it doesn’t cripple anyone’s DA spirits, not even the human audience. Why is that? No, and no. I’m not sure why it is quite strange to you, as it is a valid question in my opinion.

And what are you saying by “we don’t requiring the link”? Who is “we” and who said you do? What? I am refraining to give the video link because of the implications of the video. Why would I promote a video that kills your own spirit keep. If anything, I’m doing the opposite by making this post. Please, think for just a second before throwing out these accusations.

Not sure what is clickbait about the title, as it is my central question.

Can a video showing a certain image or creating a certain noise/frequency cause irreversible harm to your companion? No. Not that I’ve ever encountered or heard of. Their are certain things that can disrupt certain spirits. I believe the encyclopedia has several ‘spirit specific’ write ups as to what spirit is affected by what stimulus. (Ex: putting a vampire’s vessel near pressed garlic or rosemary leaves to mellow them out a bit.). If you remove the stimulus though, the spirit is more than able to make a full recovery, and some individuals may be more or less affected by the stimulus in the first place.
