Hi,
If any of you wouldn't mind sharing what kind of tasks do you assign your Gargoyles?

Thanks much! :)

I asked my gargoyle to protect my boyfriend on his way to and from work when we had really bad winter storms and he still had to drive. :/

Now that somebody's vandalized my car and the apartment complex warned me that there's a chance they could try more, I've also asked him to guard my house. So far, so good \D

Mostly protective stuff I guess C: My gargoyle isn't talkative and likes to be a silent bodyguard.

I think I have over-tasked mine; I sat here one night and got so detailed and specific, I was waiting for them to give me their letters of resignation. I just don't like leaving room for error/ misunderstanding and I had a lot of ugly crap that happened to me before they got here.

I have them on high-alert in regards to things that go bump in the night, mainly because my building is haunted and there's a not-so-nice thing that floats around. I also live across from a forest with all kinds of "things" that will occasionally pass through and scare the pants off of me. I get the feeling that my boys hang out on my balcony as opposed to indoors. I also have tasked them to protect me from the negativity and/or spells that might come my way from my magick-abusing ex-husband (he thinks he's Merlin) and a former friend (she likes to curse people). Oh yeah, I also have a personality-disordered, mentally ill, elderly mother who likes to hurl negative thought forms and project her "sins" at me. Since my boys have been on the case, I have felt like a weight has been lifted and now my mother is reporting bad dreams...

I had an incident last week that I wasn't going to write about, but I probably will now. I'll post under "Gargoyles"...

Mine also are tasked with protecting my home and us. They all have their own little spots outside of the house. The baby's are with a adult at all times except when they come in to be with me.

Good luck.

I tasked mine to protect me when I'm out. I went to Wal- Mart and noticed that more than half of the parking lot was totally filled with black birds. My younger son and I started not to get out of the car but I had to go to the bank inside. As we walked towards the door, both of us felt and saw the shadow of my gargoyle hoovering above us, protecting us.

I task mine just to protect me, wherever I am. It's very comforting knowing she's around.

You are all so wonderful! Thank you for posting. :) I have decided that mine will be my personal protectors. They will join me when I go out and when I am home they will have freedom to do as they please within the house rules. I have two black dragons that their job is to watch over our home and keep unwanted ones out.

I have two gargoyles. They weren't precisely tasked, they let me know they wanted to protect the house and surrounding yard. Their actually rather quiet and like to sit on the roof of the house.

After having several rodent problems in the last year they've now been tasked with keeping bats, rats, mice, and anything else that shouldn't be living in my house outside where it belongs.

Although the initial infestation required the physical intervention of a trained pest control specialist, I will say they've done an excellent job at keeping them from returning or new ones dropping in.

I have other spirit companions that perform personal guardian duties, and the gargoyles seem happiest at the house. I will say I've noticed they really like to attend movies, concerts, and live theater. Even if I leave their vessels at home, I inevitably find them in my pocket or the bottom of my purse once I arrive.

Thank you so much for posting. I have talked to my gargoyles and told them that I want them to be my guardians when I am out but when at home they would oversee protection of our home. They seem to be very happy with their new jobs. In the last few days I have strongly felt their presence near me and their happiness.

I assigned my gargoyles to protect me on the astral as well as the physical. It was 6am and I had to stop at WalMart to get some money out of the ATM. As soon as I got out of my car and walked about 6 paces towards the ATM a big BIRD that looked like a human body swooped down very close to me. It made chill bumps come over me when I could feel something else ( my gargoyle) fly right behind that BIRD. I looked up into the sky and the threatening BIRD was gone. I thank my gargoyles for protecting me. I could see their shadows on the ground when they intercepted the big BIRD that made my blood shiver!
